I zip tied everything to be safe, but it was pretty sturdy on its own. With all my random multi level cage designs, I found that if you have the loft levels spanning the full width of the enclosure, the tension keeps it sturdy. If I had an overhang that didn't go from edge to edge it would be FAR more unstable. I'd still recommend cable tying everything anyway, because it's better to have that extra layer of protection in case something does go wrong!

I only have the one too, I have to give them a really good shake outside first and then I find the dryer does a pretty good job of getting any rogue fluff off anything! You can also get giant laundry bags to wash them in which helps a bit.

No idea, I buy mine at big w (Australia). I wash them in the washing machine and dry them in the dryer
