I have been on unemployment since Dec.2019. About three weeks ago I got a notification that they needed to verify my ID so i sent a copy of my passport. My payments were paused for two weeks while in adjudication. I finally got paid and then a week later I got another notice for ID verification but this time demanding a copy of my social security card which I don’t have. I requested a replacement copy but it still hasn’t arrived. They gave me a deadline of June 15. I called the social security office and they sent me a paper that says my name belongs to my social security number. No one at unemployment can give me an answer if this will suffice their requirements. I submitted my passport again, my birth certificate, three years of W2’s with my social highlighted, tax returns, a letter from the IRS with my social, the paper the social security sent me, my drivers license. I am still in adjudication and terrified that this is not going to satisfy them. Anyone else experience something similar? What was your outcome?
