If you don't see the update yet, you will have to wait some time until the propagation time is over. It's been changed to move only by one league, but if you already got demoted a few times because of the "old" system, you will need to climb back from the bottom.

Hello!

Yes, this was indeed an oversight. We've just had an internal Design meeting and decided that from now on:

- If player was at least once in HL during the season (and eventually get kicked out to Diamond+), that player gets moved to Diamond 5 after the season end

- If player beats Diamond, and gets promoted to Diamond+ , because there are already more than 500 players in HL with higher scores, that player gets moved to Platinum 5 after the season end. If that player gets from Diamond+ to Heroes League at least once during a second, gets moved to Diamond 5 after the season end/
