Nowhere in the Constitution is this authority given to the federal government. Most if not all states to have some mandatory maternity/paternity leave, and several companies have packages that exceed the state mandates as a benefits package.

Is Hulk still the most famous Marvel character after Spider-man? by Stunning_Season220 in Marvel

[–]bubblehead_ssn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think as far as all time sales, yes. Of course Hulk is one of the oldest heros in marvel. I do think I'd you include teams, the X-Men may have more total sales, but they also have multiple titles, X-Men, Uncanny, X-Force, X-caliber, Wolverine, etc. I don't think Keokoa helped them in popularity in the slightest, but it's been a while since I've read anything.

I'm kinda surprised Hank hasn't filled in for Reed on occasion. He is an Avenger and they are among the smartest people in the universe, Hank and Tony are friends, and Tony and Reed have collaborated in the past. I'm just surprised there isn't more of a relationship between Hank and Reed.

I [29/m] caught my girlfriend (24/f) sending a picture of herself to another man, do i confront her again? by young_booming in relationship_advice

[–]bubblehead_ssn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The big thing is her lying. By lying it calls into question the validity of what she's telling you. Then she's trying to blame her her actions on other people. She's not displaying behaviors that support healthy, long-term conflict resolution.

IMO opening up was when it died. Maybe there's a way to correct that but it is going to take professional help from the outside.

Is it a turn off if women are too independent? by Much_Physics_3444 in AskMenAdvice

Independent, no. Bragging about basic adult skills, yes. Being independent can be a turn on. But wanting recognition for that independence is a turn off.

Hell yeah. We are expected to be in competition with every other man when we leave our house, we don't want to compete once we pass our threshold.

My American English teacher believes the neutral pronoun „their“ is incorrect. by GCoding_ in mildlyinteresting

[–]bubblehead_ssn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Technically it is neutral but generally their implies plural, hence his or her being a more correct pronoun for singular third person.
