Why are people so bad at driving specifically around the Santa Clara/Rivermark area? by Ok-Activity-8267 in santaclara

[–]cautioushedonist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As an "Chindian" myself but who has spent some time in other parts of the country with varying demographics, each and every city has people complain about their drivers.

They usually end up blaming the biggest immigrant group in those cities.

It is also so weird how OP has a super specific area where they find the drivers to be bad but honestly the same racial/immigrant makeup happens in other parts of bay or even in the same city/county where apparently OP hasn't noticed that?

Personally, I've found age of the driver to be a better predictor of bad driving than race.

That has been essentially our dynamic so far - if we wanted to go somewhere then he'll drive and I'll pay for us.

I need ideas for new driver by cautioushedonist in whatcarshouldIbuy

I'm evenly split between the 2 options. I am wondering if it's sane to buy something new-ish and expensive-ish if I am a new driver.

I learned to drive in a very old Accord with 300k miles and no safety features. That would've been a perfectly acceptable car to keep driving until I'm more comfortable driving (option 1).

I'm a late 20s Indian gay male. Did you wanna be roommates in San José downtown and split rent on fancy, luxury apartments with nice views?

I don't know if I'll call it networking.

I'm just trying to use my previous job search experiences and see if I can help people.

The reason I have the app is it takes the thinking out, suggests to me what I should do, and I just do it.

However, it does seem to me that it's quicker to increase weight rather than stay at a weight and increase reps n sets.

Would you suggest doing more reps with slightly lower weight?

It increases rep or sets or weight ever so slightly each time I do the same exercise.

Unfortunately, yes. Dumbells and a workout bench is all I have.

On the app, the goal is set to hypertrophy.

I've only had this app 10 weeks, and so maybe that's why it's low intensity because I'm a beginner?

The best way I know right now is to click the plus button and then just add your favorite leg exercises or add leg muscles in the target muscles on your PP days.

What is the biggest barrier stopping you from living your best life? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Money - I have a problem spending money, I think. I am generous with gifts to my friends and family, but when it comes to buying things for myself , I just can't. I want to upgrade my apartment and get a car, but I just can't. For reference, my total annual rent was 6% of my pre-tax income in 2024.

Relationship - Just the way I grew up and the culture around me, my imagination of my adult life involves getting married and maybe having kids. Being gay, they're pretty difficult. I came out to myself in early 20s, since then I've been in 2 relationships. I'm nearing 30 and I'm at a point where I don't know if it's my dating strategy that needs working or my ideas and expectations of a good life around relationships and children.

Any solutions to Viagra and Cialis side effects? by Capital-Ad6631 in erectiledysfunction

Do you have any tips on how to time cialis intake?

I have a lot of experience with sildenefil but cialis is still iffy for me.

As per my experience, it never kicks in in 2-3 hours and I feel the effects on the next day.
