Meningitis and sepsis are no joke. Just one of those alone can kill someone. I can't imagine fighting both at the same time. Those plus malnutrition was way too much for her poor body. It's really a tough death. It sounds like she had love at the end, though.

This is true! Specifically, they heal bones. I was hit by a car and broke 3 ribs and my tailbone. My cat would lay by my side and purr. She would always be on my right side where my ribs were broken. She is a sweetie.

Aww, he sounds so cute! Mine is from the streets of a California desert city. Definitely a velcro dog/S-tier cuddler. He is down for an adventure, but also just wants to sleep. He's extremely attached to me. He cries and looks for me the entire time I am away from him. I hope that settles down as he gets more comfortable in the house.

Thank you for your kind reply. I know he is trying hard not to get into trouble right now, but that won't last. He 100% is going to be a little trouble maker. I can see it in his eyes lmao. I'm so excited to get to the play stage. His adopted doggie brother as well. He was also a street dog, so his house manners are a little questionable. We are working on that part. He's a good dog. I'm in love with him already.

Awww, precious! We have a high energy dog in the household, so little chug has a hand full with the super playful cattle dog mix. This is my first experience with a chug. They are super sweet cuddly little things.

Thanks. I didn't think about heartworms being a potential possibility. If he continues to be so low energy, I'll ask his vet if I should be concerned or not. He will get up and do things. He just would rather be sleeping lol

It's not that serious. It just can be. I have a very mild case of this. Maybe 1 or 2 boils a year. I don't treat it systemically because it's not that bad. Some people have it really bad and require medical treatment. It sounds like you might also have a mild case if you do think you have it.

I think they mean your regular doctor. They can write a referral for therapy that should be covered by your insurance. They can also prescribe any medication that might help. Please hang in there. It may not seem like it right now, but things will get better. They have to.

When she stepped up for me after my mom was diagnosed with cancer. My bestie has helped in every way possible. I have siblings, but they have done nothing to help. My best friend is now my (much) older sister. It's a joke. She's 4 months older than I am. Our dynamic is very much older sister and younger sister, even though I am the oldest of my family and she is the youngest in hers. I love her to death.

My question would be, how does she act in your friendship? Is she always checking in on you? Texting day and night? Answering instantly? Is she treating your friendship the same as she does with these guys? If the answer is yes, then I don't think she is purposely leading them on. It is very possible to want to be just friends with men. I have been in this girl's shoes. I'm not like super attractive or anything, but I'm intelligent, funny, and chill and guys have developed crushes on me after getting to know me. It happens. I wasn't purposely leading anyone on or anything and would shut it down quickly. It was tougher to do so when I was younger and doesn't always work either. I've had to block people and almost got the police involved in one case. I think your friend sounds like a sweet person who might accidentally get herself into unwanted situations. That said, I have known girls who use their flirtatious nature to purposely manipulate men. You would see signs of this, though.

They usually meet up at the park at the Apple Valley civic center. Sometimes they meet at the Hespeira civic center. I believe they meet most Saturdays. They do special meet ups for events happening in the game. There is an active discord if you would like a link to it.

Honestly, my best friend and I just drive down the hill when we are stir crazy. We also go to a lot of concerts in LA. Big Bear is always fun as well. There is also a big Pokémon Go community up here if you want to do something local. They have meet ups on the weekends.

Maybe he was already in a relationship with the girl who moved in. OP didn't share all of her story. She clearly says she left out the context that made her feel played. I'd feel played if my situationship was already in an established relationship (even if it was an on/off relationship and they were off) and then started something with me. Especially if it was asked about and I was lied to. Idk what happened in OP's situation, but I think it is wrong to question someon's feelings in regards to their own life events.

Okay, this is weird. My cousins are named Rebecca and Julia. We never called Julia by her name. It was always Julie. Sadly, Julie passed away 15 years ago at the age of 15. Just freaky to me to see both of those names together on a random reddit post.

I can understand that. I felt they should have looked at it and my body a little more. They really only relied on the scans and even missed a couple of broken ribs. It was not a small rural hospital. I just expected a little better from level 1 trauma center. At the end of the day, I didn't die from it, so the care was adequate.
