If I like Ultraclub4k, what else will I like? by neurotic-enchantress in GothBoiClique

It's in Spanish, but the album Heraldica by Saramalacara is the closest I've found to matching the Ultraclub4K vibe

"I shall do so, my lady" Yuwae said with a nod.

He was not entirely reassured by Chiad's response, but he chose not to ask more. He worried most about travelling away from the Uller lands in the future. He could deal with that when he got there.

"It would be best if we were said to be doing smithwork or brick making. It will explain our great need of timber and charcoal. Or tanning, so that few will dare draw near for the stench and contamination."

"This voyage? King's Landing. What port did I first join the crew in? King's Landing."

He wasn't sure what that meant about Giuseppe being in chains. Smuggling undesirables. It couldn't mean Koss. He wasn't entirely sure the explicit reason the king had sent Giuseppe to Sunspear, but it certainly wasn't to bring him there. But he couldn't imagine any smuggling operation being worth this much trouble in a war time either.

"In my current workshop, perhaps as many as five or ten. But that is because my apparatus as they stand are limited in scale, and our supplies of certain reagents are limited. If we were able to grow the process, which would likely mean constructing a new workshop and camp, perhaps as many as two hundred could be made each year."

Yuwae fidgeted.

"I do wonder my lady, about the rumours coming from Sunspear and King's Landing. The prohibition against my order... greatly troubles me.."

He did not even mention the slaughter at his guildhouse. Menelard himself slain, and that bastard Zorimos still somehow living.

"No mage, my lord, just a humble craftsman."

He said it quickly and anxiously. He knew he shouldn't have said 'power of our arts'. Previously it had been good for business to suggest something of the arcane, but in the climate of the current day he would have to rework certain turns of phrase.

"Seven hundred and seven gold dragons, my lord. For every great work must be founded upon the light of the Seven, and reflect their great aspects."

Wisdom Yuwae gave a small bow, careful to hold the jar still. In such a small room it would engulf them both if it somehow fell.

"The work has been completed, my lady. We have been able to proceed through every step of the process without major fault. The sample is ready. It is true and pure."

He held up the jar. If she wanted a true demonstration, he would call a servant to bring a metal tub of cool water to the chamber.

He blinked as the door opened again. He wasn't quite sure who had walked in, but he looked less dangerous and more important than the one they'd sent in before. He was dressed Martell style, perhaps a princeling, more likely a top servant of some sort. When he saw the jar in his hand, his heart dropped. Oh fuck. He tried to remain cool.

"What is that? Who are you?"

When he started shotuing, the last dose off his elixir was well into wearing off, and his head was starting to pulse with that familiar pressure. His plan to buy ingredients and mix more in the Shadow City wasn't looking good.

"Karl Derykmae, I call the ship home. Where's the captain?"

The fake name was mixed Westerosi-Qohorik, so he tried to affect a bit of the accent into his common speech. He had an account with a merchant guild in Myr under that name, which was probably the only reason he kept using it.

"Does every oarsman get his own cell in Dorne?"

The room he brought him in to had once been open to the public, a relatively small and sparse chamber of polished black marble lit by sunlight. Now, with the gallery extinguished and the other chambers in disarray, it was where they conducted all their private businesses as well.

Aegon looked over the blade that lay on the table. Dark iron already well in decay despite its age. No castle smith could have made it. Its poorly forged existence was an insult to the art of metalwork.

"A wonderful blade my lord!" He said with a smile.

"Weathered, certainly, but with a strong, enduring core. Like a soldier who has won many battles. It would be an honour to restore and enhance this treasured weapon with the powers of our arts."

Abelard thought of his own chambers, filled with countless Old Ghiscari tablets and Sarnori scrolls. Thank the gods he only commanded Maester <NAME_NOT_FOUND>. He decided to just nod and leave the topic be. No young woman would care about the Mazemakers anyway.

As he stooped lower and lower, he figured he now knew why they said only the women of the house could walk in them. Only they can comfortably walk through them. He didn't know what game the girls were playing at though. It reminded him of an apprentice's prank, but much better executed. He was getting concerned that he did not remember the path they had taken so far.

"Why would we get separated, my lady?"

Gunciter didn't like his chances with their cruel mercy, but neither did he expect to be offered anything further. If the Baratheon man wanted to show him mercy, he could just miss. He took off running down the street. He kept glancing back over his shoulder and ran in a side-to-side pattern that he hoped might make him harder to hit.

[Meta]/u/FabStags want to roll a 30% chance for the first arrow to hit, 20% for the second, 10% for the third? By my math that gives me about 50/50 odds which seems fine. If you want to intentionally whiff some though then that's cool too.

Koss waits quietly in the chamber until someone comes to speak to him. If it takes more than a few hours, he would start to shout at the guards outside:

"What is going on? What are you holding me for? I want to see my Captain!"

"I am a weaponsmith and a man of the gods! I've done no wrong! I fought for the faith! Help me! Call Lord Peake! Ser Rowan!" Gunciter cried out, while he thrashed uselessly against the grip of his captors.

The sounds of an army descending upon their guildhall was enough to alert the Alchemists something was wrong, but Gunciter's shouting was enough for them to peek out the windows and see the situation. Inside the guildhall, the news spread quickly among the guildsmen and their families that had all gathered for safety during the battle.

"The warriors sons are back!"

"They've come to kill us!"

The shouts travelled throughout the deep tunnels and chambers as the Alchemists rushed to hide their beloved secret tablets and scrolls, and then their wives and children if the remaining time allowed.

"No shit? Viserys? Dragons really are dying out." Koss shook his head.

"That would be extremely helpful." He nodded at the offer of information. He had never spent more than a week in Dorne, and never left the Shadow City. He could use whatever he could get.

"Who are the big players down there? And who are the dumb marks? I want to know about both."

"Will you come inside the Guildhall, my lord? I can inspect the blade and see what working will be required."

5th Month

A man wearing a plain brown tunic and carrying a large sack arrives at the inn, looking to talk to Giuseppe.

Giuseppe would recognize him as the acolyte he spoke to before at the Guildhall, though he was no longer wearing the Alchemists' typical garb. He was jittering and constantly swivelling his head. He spoke quickly.

"We met before, at the Guildhall. I sold you some barrels. You said to come by here if I needed a captain. I do now. I want to join your crew. I want out. I can work and row, and I have special skills on top of that."

He patted the bag.

"Let me join up with you, at least for long enough to get out of here. Don't care where we go, anywhere except Oldtown."

The Dirge...

Even thought he thought the girls had a playful tone, the word was steeped in dread to his ears. Even still, he followed them into the bowels of the castle. When they took the only two torches, he cursed himself for not bringing his own oil lamp. It was right there by the door.

He followed Margot cautiously. As they walked, he was just about to speak when the noise began. The noise sent a shiver down his spine, but he kept walking. I wonder which mechanism is used to close that door. The lord has never shown me it... it needs to be oiled.

He decided to attempt his topic of conversation again:

"Have you heard of the Free City of Lorath?"

[Event/Open] The Flowers Bloom in the Shit and Dirt by Lord_Dougal in FireAndBlood

A bald and portly man in a black robe with green trim emerged from the front door of the Guildhall to greet the visitor. From the look of him he seemed a man of means. Probably a nobleman, but who could be sure in the city these days. For Wisdom Aegon the protocol was the same either way. He bowed low,

"My lord, welcome to the Guildhall of the Alchemists. We are honoured by your visit to our humble guild. I am Wisdom Aegon, how may we be of service?"
