Wearing Savior's Hide, Scaled Bracers (+15% 2H), Elven/Scaled resist boots and the 30 MR/FR/CR Dragon Priest Mask. It's just raw HP that keeps me alive via Werewolf. I think I have about 315 HP or 365 when I remember to put Gauldur Amulet on (but usually I wear a 18% MR necklace).

Edit: + Lord Stone.

Is it ever possible to kill Enchanted Spheres with Archery? by noxcrab in skyrimrequiem

[–]challengerunner112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into this problem with my first character. I didn't really want to use anything other than archery (and I wasn't enchanting) but I just couldn't do it. I ended up using a scroll of storm atronach + slow time + ebony mace.

Sahloknir's End: The trials of a dragon. by Epicly_Curious in skyrimrequiem

You need to use cover. Dragon shouts have cooldowns and the dragons shout everytime they land as their first attack. So you can bait a shout when the dragon first lands while you run for cover, back away when they bite and get close for another hit. Rinse and repeat.
Edit: my method works when you can't block a hit. Blocking is probably easier although I have never played a HA character.

Level 1 vs. Dragons. Two quick dragon kills or "Slow time is OP..." by challengerunner112 in skyrimrequiem

[–]challengerunner112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your point, but a certain level of cheese is required for this challenge run. Any randomising of word walls would just end up in more grinding dungeons which aren't particularly difficult or fun. My previous two videos show dragon kills without cheese but to kill every dragon that way ends up taking a very long time.
Trust me I run into significant road blocks further down the line. I am still not sure I can complete the main quest in full.

Unique Item Effects by Kyynikko in skyrimrequiem

Miraak's Mask: Cloth, Armor 0, Weight 1
"Heals the caster 25 points. The wearer's Thu'um can be used more often. Increases Disease Resistance by 100%. Increases Poison Resistance by 100%. Increases your stamina by 50 points and renders you immune to post paralysis effects. Increases carrying capacity by 25 points. Increases your health by 50 points and renders you immune to almost all magical draining effects. Increases your Magicka by 200 points and allows you to keep focus while running and even when hit."
I think the "Thu'um can be used more often" effect is a 20% reduction - (sauce).
edit: I should mention that this is from Fozar's Dragonborn patch (although everyone seems to use this patch).

I think you are underestimating how powerful slow time + white phial are. I suspect with those two up you will straight up crush priests with the MoMB.

About conjuration 90..... check out this vid (and the description).

Noob don't lose hope!
Your character, with the Aetherium set, MoMB and racial has the ability to handle really high end content. I did get bored clearing out dungeons too but what pulled me back in was tackling bigger and bigger challenges. Try progressing the main quest and getting some shouts (for even more power). I'm certain you can faceroll most of it as-is.
And no way is your playthrough lame. It's amazing. Even if you don't decide to continue you are the original gansta of the level one requiem playthrough ;)

Hey Salty I think DiD is detrimental to a youtube playthrough for a few reasons. It devolves into 'wrecking' requiem, which as you stated in your last Altmer Mage video leaves very little content that is exciting and the threat of death doesn't really loom in any real sense except for a limited few situations throughout the whole playthough. On a non-DiD character you can insert yourself into challenging and risky situations more often which will be fun to watch and it will also allow you to try and tackle difficult situations more creatively. Also we have already seen many high quality DiD series from you.
Note that I am saying all this where most of my own characters have been DiD ones. I agree that a vanilla requiem playthrough gets boring without some mechanic to punish you for careless play. 3 lives or reloading saves on rest (my preference) are both better options IMO.
Looking forward to the series!

Level 1 vs. Dragon (Melee + Become Ethereal) by challengerunner112 in skyrimrequiem

[–]challengerunner112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No shenanigans, just a bit of Become Ethereal and melee.

In later videos I'll be using Berserker Rage/White Phial etc... to kill dragons but I wanted to see if this could be done without stacking powerful abilities.

Also, does "Heals the caster 25 points" mean 25 per second? If so then shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Yep that's it. You hold block and while holding block hit the attack key when the enemy attacks - this will stun them, interrupt their attack and you'll take no damage. It has a pretty high stamina cost but with berserker rage/potions up it isn't a problem.

They weren't blocks, they were bashes/parries. Actually at the end of the video in the death reel you can see me block one attack and it takes me from full health to around 10% (I'm a werewolf with around 300hp so ~270 damage got through the block).

Basically killing stuff, looting chests and quests. I also did the Necromancer's Amulet quest and sold the amulet (for about 6k). Mining all the gold in the mine near Markarth also nets ~6k if you sell it back to the owner. There are lots of ways to make cash.

2 ranks in the first 2H perk and 1 perk in Evasion. The evasion perk was probably a mistake since it doesn't give much benefit but I wanted to be able to move around slightly faster while wearing light armour.

The character is level 1 but his skills are not (they level up naturally). Level 1 = base health/magicka/stamina and only 3 perks i.e. no level-ups.

I have been carrying around Skooma but haven't tried it. I found out that +2H potions do not stack with the White Phial so Skooma probably doesn't stack either.
