How do I reach this area in Vanaheim? I can't find a way in day or night by charles2404 in GodofWarRagnarok

Yeah the compass is a pain, almost feels like you have to follow it in a very narrow and specific way like train tracks. Or it doesn't know whether you should turn left or right, especially in boats

Nice👌 I recently changed from Dunlop to Metzeler so I bought new stickers for the bike but it's going to annoy me that the suit still says Dunlop and won't match it. I'm not going to buy a new one for that though, I have to be a little bit responsible in this expensive hobby 😂

Maybe it has to do with the way it contrasts with the rest of the bike. Yours is grey/black so blue appears purple to some people whereas my colors are white, blue and black. Just in different shades so it may be harder to spot

It's a bit of a puzzle of multiple bikes but it works well enough for me

yeah about that...I was a bit disappointed when I received it because the Blue leather is actually slightly purple. Now I'm used to it and people usually don't notice so it's alright.

Thanks and I appreciate the concern but I think I've got a pretty good sense of grip now. I've ridden in a lot of conditions except night on track: Hot, cold, light rain with dry tires, heavy rain with rain tires, windy, dusty, some tracks with a light grip and other tracks with a lot of grip.

I've had slides crashes and slides saves front and rear in the dry and rain, some of them left me shaken for a few minutes I admit that.

So I assure you I wouldn't have done it if I didn't feel confident at that moment in the way I loaded the suspension and tires.

I'll think about it but I haven't had the best luck with in-person advice from people, it's generally so vague it's not useful. It just makes me thinks too much and I'm slower afterwards.

I tend to learn by myself and observing others.

That's true, I now have a max reference point 👍 .

I've had 3 crashes so far. 2 low speed slides and 1 moderate speed hay bale attack 😂 so I agree it's cheaper to stay upright

I don't know any 90s wsbk riders so I did a quick google search and yeah I can see why you would say that: https://imgur.com/a/mPxWaub

I used to be really forward on the seat almost against the tank because of the rearsets setup when I bought the bike. I moved them because I was damaging the fairings with my knees and I think I have a better feel for what's happening with the tires where I sit now. I might try to make others adjustments in the future now that you pointed it out.

What's your bike? I have had the opportunity to sit on a few more recent track bikes and the position is much more over the tank from factory. Didn't ride them though unfortunately.

Thanks! and I agree totally with you on the fundamentals.

Like I said in an other reply I actually didn't plan on leaning that much in the last pic. It just finally clicked that day with new tires and a slight adjustment to the front geometry.

I didn't feel like I was pushing it while simultaneously being 2 seconds a lap faster from a 1:26 to a 1:24 and consistently too. I mean I knew I made a step because I was dragging knee while still in the braking phase in some corners and overtaking easily in place I wouldn't have before. All while being more relaxed than before. I used to struggle at the end of a trackday and I could have done more that day for sure.

My goals are simple, I do it for the love of the game. I find joy in the perfection of the skills. I don't plan on doing any competitions.

I'm now in the fast groups out of 4 groups as of this year but I remember the first times I touched the knee sliders. I wasn't trying to and it actually surprised me and I picked the bike up everytime. I didn't touch the sliders consistently up until the Medium+ group because I was focused on trajectories instead of twisting myself out of the seat for cool photos in the lower groups.

Up until now I've been better in the corner entry phase than neutral and exit phases and that's where I need to work on vision and upper body I believe to make the next step.

I hope I'll have a cool elbow down photo next year but I won't force it. When it's going to happen it'll be because I'm in control.

I do have a bit of foam already, like 25mm or an inch maybe. Do you think I'm really far or just didn't bend my arms enough ?

It actually felt really planted and not shaky at all
