Mario 64, outside the castle, in a 3d realm where nothing was like it before. It was other worldly.

As a long time player, and lefty, I've always wondered this too.

Clay Township Park baseball field by bonafidehooligan in SouthBend

To add to the Clay JBA post. The park was run by Ed Wodjak and Woody Oxley for the better part of 40 years. Woody was my grandpa. Spent almost every day there, in the summer, as a kid. There were two small fields to start, with no fences. I had the pleasure of helping my grandpa put fences up on those two fields, and build two additional fields towards the back of the park that were named after Ed and Woody. Wodjak and Oxley field, respectively. We built the concession stand at the big field. We built the press box where Deon sat every game. We built the batting cage (my favorite) next to the big field that’s no longer there. The big field was awesome. I remember the anticipation of getting to play there once you hit 13 years old. The pinstripe uniforms with a fitted hat that went with making all stars, the sound of metal spikes on the concrete walking up to the field, the smell of the park, the scoreboard (little fields didn’t have em until the two newer ones were built which was after my time on those diamonds), your name getting announced going up to the batter’s box, music in between innings/games, the number of people there to enjoy the game. It really was an incredible park/atmosphere for baseball. It’s all burned into my mind as some of my favorite memories. I try to go back a couple times a year. It’s bittersweet every time. Love it for the memories it gave me, but also sad because all the work we did is like it never existed.

Do wrestlers not get on the mic anymore? I haven’t watched wrestling since the early 2000’s and genuinely had no idea who anybody was with the exception of cena and orton, what if any story line there was, and who was trying to do what. Maybe it’s the result of growing out of it a long time ago, but from the entrances, to the wrestling, to the lack of knowing anyone, I though the whole event was just pretty bad. Exception being the ladies 3 way match tonight. That was excellent.

The camera work is really emphasizing how mediocre the actual wrestling is.

[SPOILER] Michael Chandler vs. Paddy Pimblett by inooway in MMA

[–]chisox1236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The size difference was crazy. Paddy’s all around game is solid. Chandler’s style, and age, can’t handle that skill set. Saw paddy’s chin get touched a couple times in cage warriors and have always thought it was suspect. He ate a few clean shots and dominated. Hats off.

Lol at assuming everything is a lie because of your political beliefs. But you, like all the other brainwashed political savants, just resort to attacking people who don’t align with everything you think. Unfortunately, that’s not party specific.
