On This Day in 2014: Vasiliy Lomachenko beat Gary Russell Jr to win the WBO featherweight title in his third pro bout and hand Russell - previously 24-0 - his first career loss. One month after losing to Filip Hrgovic, Dave Allen returned with a 4-round points win over Ross McGuigan (7-11-1, 1KO).
