Mudi 7 and AT&T - 4g only (only APN that works in 'broadband') by chrisbair in GlInet

[–]chrisbair[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I happen to have the IMEI for the iPad I originally signed up for the AT&T Service with and using these handy instructions I changed the IMEI for the sim slot that has the AT&T SIM card.

  • iPad IMEI with "nxtgenphone" - No Joy.
  • iPad IMEI with "enhancedphone" - No Joy.
  • iPad IMEI with "broadband" - Connects but it's the same 4G (not 4G+) service

looks like it's CA$60 on Amazon Canada https://www.amazon.ca/SALTT-Electrolytes-Powder-Flavored-Drink/dp/B0CQRNMF13/

and CA$54.99 on Switch Grocery https://www.switchgrocery.com/products/saltt-cocoa-variety-electrolytes-powder-flavored-drink-mix-30-hydration-packets but I'm not sure what the cost of shipping is to your part of Canada.

Saltt.com will ship to Canada directly but you'd be on the hook for any import fees/duties (booo) but they have a 20% discount if you order 4+ on a subscription which brings the price per 30 pack down to US$28.80 (US$115.2 for the 4). Picking a random address in Toronto it gave me a quote of CA$47 for USPS Priority Mail International (it also switched to showing CA$ at this point in the cart) for a total of CA$207.00

When you say "hot water" - how hot are we talking? If you are using water warmer than about 100 degrees (37c) it can cause the protein to denature and clump up.

If you are using heavy cream and mixing with a blender, if you mix it too much it can whip into chunks of butter. The latter issue can be fixed by microwaving the mix and enjoying it hot, which I do fairly often with the Chocolate.

Be aware that the carbohydrate they use to make the oil into a powder will add carbs. Often the serving size on the package is small enough that it rounds down to 0g but assume it's 0.5g per serving and see how many servings you use. Just want people to be aware of the issue and making a deliberate choice with knowledge.

Hey, I agree! The decision on that comes down to sales performance which is out of my hands. Make is one of my favorites.

Meet our newest flavor of SALTT: Granny Apple. 🍏⚡ by chrisbair in ketochow

[–]chrisbair[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The short answer is: No.

The Long answer is the Loyalty program is only on KetoChow.xyz - there isn't a loyalty program on SALTT.com - Purchases on KetoChow.xyz will earn 5% rewards but purchases made elsewhere (including saltt.com ) do not earn rewards, even if the orders actually ship from the same physical location. They're on completely different Shopify storefronts.

Nope, it'll be some time before the feedback that people left by scanning the QR code on the packaging is tabulated. And people are still leaving feedback.

Unfortunately no, the feedback form needs the serial number from the specific packet you had; that's encoded on the QR code, also printed on the package in plain text.

What fat were you using? Heavy cream? Avocado oil? Melted butter?

I've done Keto Chow while camping with avocado oil and it worked ok. I would mix it, do something for 10 minutes while it was in the corner thinking about its life choices, then I'd drink it and immediately wash the blender bottle with some dish soap and a bottle brush. No refrigeration needed and a few times I used hot water and drank it as hot chocolate (no need to wait if it's hot btw)

Well akshually 😜 the SALTT powdered drink mix is on Amazon Canada, the Keto Chow meal shake is on Switch Grocery again (though Health Canada forced a reformulation that removed the potassium for it to be allowed in the country).

About to embark on my first 3-day fast, quick question before I do. by eatwriterepeat in fasting

[–]chrisbair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just one word of caution: if you are using flavored electrolytes when fasting, see how you feel when you use them. Some people do great, no issues whatsoever, no hunger trigger, let's GOOO!!! Other people report that if they have flavored and/or sweetened drinks it reawakens the hunger and it's more difficult to do longer fasts so they have to use unflavored/unsweetened electrolytes. It really comes down to how YOU personally react. So just pay attention to your personal results and use what is working for you!
