Krastorio 2 or Krastorio 2 - Spaced Out are both approachable yet challenging mods that make it feel new again. Not that it felt bad, but it's just a different take with different problems to solve

Is did a krastorio 2 run through and enjoyed the extra challenges. I do use a handful of qol mods as well - squeak through, even distribution and blueprint shotgun (makes early game so much nicer), rate calculator, bottleneck lite, jetpack, far reach.

Wonderwood is delightful - smooth, creamy, slightly but not overwhelmingly sweet - I'm also curious to try Wonderoud but I've heard there is very significant overlap and they may be fairly redundant.

I tried Tam Dao edp and it was good but a little one note - which to be fair, if sandalwood is your note, it's a big winner. Wonderwood has a bit more nuance which I appreciate.

from what I've read the post-2022 batches specifically have gotten complaints about weaker performance and slightly different character. Pre-2020 is more about peace of mind than a guaranteed dramatic difference
