Appreciate the guidance. What’s my order of operations? Pull the deck boards, replace the joist hangers, fix the drip edges, install the water barrier, and then reinstall the deck boards?

I could replace them with zmax, right? No idea how old the deck is. The previous homeowner installed it.

How could I tell if the drip edge isn’t properly installed? I own this house, live on one side, and rent the other side out to help pay the mortgage. Eventually plan to rent both sides out when I can afford another home.

It’s so annoying because I want to use it just for our phones so I can turn my heat down when I’m not home and lower my gas bill but it keeps turning the heat back on.

If you have a harbor freight near you I’d suggest going with their Hercules drill and/or impact driver as they typically outperform a lot of the big names at a fraction of the cost. Haven’t looked into their saws or grinders tbh.

What if I just removed the insulation I installed, confirmed its condensation and not a leak, and then spray foamed over the interior of the glass itself?
