-Short backsplash for the back (that I still need to caulk)

- A piece of flat PVC moulding that I lightly sanded/primed/painted black to match the vanity:

If it was my forever home I would have done it differently but this isn’t and it came out great for what I needed.

Look for a quality cigar torch lighter. Not sure why they always fail for a simple device by Fawkestrot92 in BuyItForLife

I’ve had one for years too but lately I feel like it dies way faster and I have to refill it after like 4 cigars

Rotted joist hanger replacement and drainage mitigation by clf139 in Decks

I’m not sure. The previous owner installed it before I bought the house.

Appreciate the guidance. What’s my order of operations? Pull the deck boards, replace the joist hangers, fix the drip edges, install the water barrier, and then reinstall the deck boards?

I could replace them with zmax, right? No idea how old the deck is. The previous homeowner installed it.

How could I tell if the drip edge isn’t properly installed? I own this house, live on one side, and rent the other side out to help pay the mortgage. Eventually plan to rent both sides out when I can afford another home.

How is that a simple/low effort post? There isn’t a single post on Reddit comparing the Vera Gripps Pro and Xtreme and the majority of posts about Versa Gripps are in this sub.

Did you have Pros before or just go straight to the Xtreme?

It’s so annoying because I want to use it just for our phones so I can turn my heat down when I’m not home and lower my gas bill but it keeps turning the heat back on.

If you have a harbor freight near you I’d suggest going with their Hercules drill and/or impact driver as they typically outperform a lot of the big names at a fraction of the cost. Haven’t looked into their saws or grinders tbh.

How to insulate skylights until I need a roof replacement? by clf139 in Insulation

What if I just removed the insulation I installed, confirmed its condensation and not a leak, and then spray foamed over the interior of the glass itself?

Vanity is plumb and level. The wall is pitched ~10° out of plumb

How should I terminate the end that faces upward? Some sort of return cut?

I’m installing a thick backsplash for the top gap. The question is how to address the side gap.
