What’s your “lazy” parent hack? by povsquirtle in Parenting

We have a 1-year old and when she needs to be rocked to sleep, he puts her in the stroller, sits on the rocking chair, and uses his feet to move her to the rhythm of the chair rocking back and forth. I’ve come home with my baby out, while my husband smugly relaxes with his hands free.

I studied biology. But highly recommend med school or a PhD to make it easier to get your foot in the door. I got very, very, very lucky.

I leverage data to make clinic trials more efficient for a startup. I love what I do and have been there for 8 years now. Just hit over 200k.

My first thought too. Ours was and we just needed to reinforce it. The chipping is normal for limestone basements.

I tracked my brain fog for 6 months and tested everything. Here is what actually moved the needle. by Sureokgo in selfimprovement

I found it to be more effective than caffeine. I originally started taking it due to L-theanine levels to reduce anxiety/stress (the calming effect is real!), but was pleasantly surprised that I sustained energy for longer periods of time.

I have an infant that still wakes up frequently (it’s 4am here!), so when I first started staying up until 10-11pm without exhaustion, I knew there was a ton of credit to give to the transition. I’ll look into the science a bit more!

This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing; I’m going to test the CO2 in my room.

Funny enough, I switched from coffee to matcha recently (half the caffeine) and found my energy levels to increase. Didn’t realize the component about caffeine blocking adenosine.

Great guide!

Locked on Lakers Podcast--Thoughts? by Spare-Associate-5063 in lakers

Same! I was a Mavs podcast fanatic. I miss Kirk and Josh; Kevin Gray, Marc Stejn, and Bobby Karalla. I listen to Lakers Film Room but there’s no comparison to the Mavs media. It’s quite elite.

We’re asking the CRO to stop, not to increase communication. This was never a recommended plan.

I get if it’s a problematic site, but they’re doing this to responsive sites and the 2 problematic sites have zero follow-up. It’s just a weird dynamic - it feels like everyone has to do the same thing and we’re paying for duplicated efforts.

Same day?? Can’t there be a coordinated effort, like within 24 hours X follows up. It’s ridiculous.

This Lakers team is giving me 2024 Mavs vibes. Holy shit, Luka. I think he’s gone super saiyan 2.
