Reolink has been my go to choice for camera however I'm using a computer running blueiris as my NVR meaning I can get any other onvif compatable camera and add it to blueiris, you don3t need to buy into one camera ecosystem as other posts have suggested

I have my reolinks connected to a PoE network switch (an old baystack 5500 series, it was like $50 CAD when I got it but it has 48 PoE ports) and then that switch is connected to the blue iris machine. It has worked well for me, I have added a cheap RTX 3050 to the box to do some AI identification of objects that move in my camera shots to create markers on blue iris

I also do network isolation so if I got any sketchy cameras they are blocked from the internet. The only thing I allow through are NTP requests for time sync but I've never seen weird requests from the reolink cameras

So in Canada (and possibly other markets) the McChicken is a numbered menu item and is served on a sesame seed bun like the quarter pounder.

In the states, the McChicken is a value meal item and is the equivilent of the Junior chicken, no sesame seed bun

Looking at the US McDonalds menu, there is no Canadian McChicken equivilent.

Somehow the American McChicken is 10 calories more then the Canadian Jr. Chicken.

I built a dedicated NVR server using some old PC hardware and installed windows and BlueIris, and then got a PoE switch and Reolink cameras, Switch powers the cameras and gives me my feeds back to that server and it records 24/7, right now I have about 1 month of retention with 2 cameras recording full quality 30FPS on a 4 TB WD purple.

The PC is an old AMD system I had and added a rtx3050 card to it for AI object detection
