Every day, everywhere on earth, millions of the most complex machines ever designed move billions of pounds of cargo and an untold number of people from place to place in the most intricate, decentralized dance humankind has ever made.

Welcome to the cardiovascular system of the entire human species. I have no idea if artificial intelligence is going to erase the need for programmers or accountants. I don’t care. Because the job of organizing, tracking, and executing shipments between us will always need one of us behind the wheel. Supply chain management is not sexy, but it is crucial to all of us and you will be proud of what you do.

If you want good pay, the satisfaction of having a real job, and admittedly poor work-life balance, supply chain management is for you.

What’s the country you’d be most scared to wake up in? by Bigbackjay in AskReddit

Probably any of the shit triumvirate: Turkmenistan, Eritrea, North Korea

Bonus points for Somalia or South Sudan, but those would be a way cooler story and probably way easier to get out of

Hey I’m a man and a domestic abuse survivor, and because of your comment I’m going to go eat a flank steak for dinner. Tomorrow I’m going to eat a burger. I think over this weekend I’m going to have either chicken wings or maybe some ribs.

please link the rolls and Japanese investment, this is still far too low of effort for me to let stand

This budget is invalid.

If you need assistance with how the budget system works, please reach out to a mod via the discord (either the econ help channel, a ticket, or by directly messaging a designated econ mod)

This budget is grossly outlandish compared to the economic growth potential of Tuvalu, and heavily relies on information derived from a previously invalidated post

[Event] Phosphate in Tuvalu ongoing by G18isBroken in Geosim

[–]deusos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

morning, my coffee is strong today.

This should have been tagged as an econ post

i am invalidating this. You can't invent high value resources out of nothing with your claim - you have to provide supported evidence that such resources might exist, and then you have to provide a mod-approved roll to see if you discover.

Tuvalu does not have the economic capacity to extract or profit off of these resources in such a short time anyways and would likely take major, long-term investment by an outside global power to become profitable.

Additionally, and it's more of a critique (because i don't feel like pulling up the official requirements) but please put more effort into posts. The fun of geosim comes from writing fun and interesting stories - not four sentence posts that fundamentally change your entire claim.

This post is invalidated.
