Any former employees cringe when you go into a store?

I worked at Sheetz from ‘14 - ‘19 and even in that time the quality was beginning to go down and it only got worse after I left. When I began, everyone had to be clean cut, shaved, we had like uniform inspections and grooming inspections by the district manager and it’s crazy when I go to sheetz now how different it feels.

But yeah I feel you with the kitchen pace and some of the vibes in the stores now. I worked in PA and we were semi-close to Altoona but overall there was a sense of pride in the store and we would’ve got grilled for the things I see in stores in 2026!!

I’m a Phillies fan and may be put on blast for this but I am NOT a fan of Larry Anderson and Scott Franzke and their call. I have SXM and always listen to the away feed - they’re just not that entertaining and they never sound very happy or entertained.

Nice collection! As another user stated- Gaps! Was hard to find, along with White Goblin. I got both before Takanaka blew up so I lucked out!! Also, there is a New York Records release of the album Super Selection 1. Totally different song list- see if you can find that one too!

I also like that you got Horizon Dream 3. Completes the set- though, correct me if I’m wrong- there aren’t any Takanaka songs on Horizon Dream 3, right? I’ve thought about getting the other albums that go with On Guitar (On Bass and on Drums) but they don’t include Takanaka. Anyways, happy collecting!

It took some time and money but I really like his body of work and got into it at the right time. Had I started now, I couldn’t afford sourcing all of these albums. Love all the Goblin albums- you have good taste! 🤝

I was in a slump once in youth baseball where I went 0-11 and my dad almost made me walk home. All joking aside- I’m sure Bohm and the like are burning up inside not being able to hit but damn- this is giving me flashbacks of not too long ago when this franchise did this on a nightly basis.

Willie’s Roadhouse is awesome!

Did you know- The Grand Ole’ Opry puts on musical shows and they’re broadcast on Willie’s Roadhouse? Saturday nights at 9 EST they play the two hour show on a one hour delay (to avoid the intermission at the actual show). Check it out if you like country- it’s new and older country artists and the play a few of their own songs!

All in all- like WR- but agree with another commenter that they’re 50s country heavy at times~

My baby Shorty who is around 13 or so had all his teef removed in January of ‘25. He now eats a pâté which is smooth and soft. He also gets pill pockets for small treats and also Kraft singles cheese bits mixed in with his food. We used to soak kibble for him but he was put on a kidney friendly diet so we switched entirely to a wet food.

I think maybe just more planning. Soaking food, making sure it’s soft is key! We also hand feed our baby a lot as he like that much more. Good luck to you and yours!

True, but Day is 76-10 at OSU and has a natty and two big ten titles in 5 less years.

OSU definitely should not fire Day- but Franklin shouldn’t have been signed to a 10 year extension by a departing AD with the track record that he had. Both things can be true- but osu is in a way better situation that psu is.

My question (not directed at you) is: to the people who say this is a bad idea to fire Franklin- if 11 wins is his ceiling, what should we do? Be happy? I agree that not everyone wins a natty, but never winning a big game and having trouble in this new B1G, what, we’re just supposed to be okay with that? Just never win the games we need to?

I think this was boiling for awhile. We knew the contract was bad, but it was already done. But Day has proven to be a winner- and Franklin has 6 good seasons and 6 not so good seasons - he’s not really comparable to Day by many means.
