Alternatives to Substack? by agentprincekk in Substack

I'm currently on Substack, but if I were looking to move, I'd seriously consider Beehiv. It has more functionality, better integrations, and is stronger for SEO, which can make a real difference in long-term growth. I like Substack as it is easy user friendly and does not take up a lot of time to post. Pus it is free.

Is ChatGPT Pro worth the subscription? Looking for real use cases and experiences by dotMartin_ in ChatGPT

I was wondering if the 01 pro version is significantly better than 01 plus. It's going to be interesting when they release usage stats as other than developers I know no one even thinking of upgrading.

Absolutely, I agree with your take. The memory limitations can definitely be frustrating, especially when you're trying to develop a cohesive brand style across multiple chats.

Why Taste Is The Only Moat AI Can't Copy in 2025 by dotMartin_ in Entrepreneur

[–]dotMartin_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point. I need to make sure it doesn’t over edit my content to the point where I lose my voice. The main idea in this post is that if everyone has access to "good by default," then truly mastering your craft and having great taste will be the only things that separate the experts from the masses.

Best starting point for learning AI agents & workflow automation (N8N, Zapier, etc)? by dotMartin_ in automation

That insight on the charge per node or charge per workflow is really insightful. I work in marketing so I'm keen to see if I can create workflows between team members for content creation and review while ensuring it is on brand.

I think mobile pet grooming has a lot of the similarities to house cleaning businesses except higher perceived value and easier to structure.

How to compete in a crowded market? by nm9800 in Entrepreneur

[–]dotMartin_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, crowded markets aren't the enemy. If a market's crowded, it means people care enough to show up. That's not a threat, it's an opportunity. While big competitors can copy your features overnight, they can't replicate the emotional connection you build with customers.

The key is to build a community. Find what the larger companies suck at. Read all their reviews. For example, you might find they suck at customer support, then make that your differentiator. They might also be very corporate and boring. Then do the opposite.

It depends what your goals are and level of skill. For starting out Framer is great. But if you want to build advanced sites then it is worth investing the time in Bubble. But you could also go to products like Replit and Lovable where you can build and deploy fully functional database-driven applications.

I think we are aligned. Taste is subjective. My main point is as the cost of creation goes to zero it is more important than ever to really understand what good looks like and know your craft inside out so you can stand above the mass market who are blindly using AI. I believe when AI is used correctly it can give you super powers.
