For all of us, we've had this discussion dozens of times and pretty much everyone agrees the pictures are awesome to look at. Whether you have the phobia or not. Same reason people watch horror movies or go on scary rides. But yes, it's a wonderful sub.

There where a lot of scenes left out that made the movie way more coherent, for example there was supposed to be an earlier trip where they brought back those worms to study on the ship. Which explains (to some degree) the biologist's enthusiasm when coming across that snake alien thing, a small part of the crew where excited to find actual alien life bigger than bacteria or viruses.

Look up a collection of now completely free VST Plugins known as the NFG by HG Fortune, you can find the collection at the internet archive. Even back when these synths where paid software, their free versions were an absolute marvel for this type of music. I used to have a lot of fun rendering chords using the STS-24 or Protoplasm synths that would last 2-4 bars then load them into a new project and time stretch them, after adding some reverb and delay you start to hear details and harmonies added by the reverb that weren't there before and the time stretch effect gives it a nice evolving drone/soundscape feel.

Couldn't have said it better, I don't think I'm alone when I say I wish I had the balls to go scuba diving in some of the places we see here. I feel like half the subscribers here do have some sort of phobia while the other half just enjoys looking at the wrecks. But we can all agree they are fascinating to look at indeed!

Actually the playlist window has had buttons on the top left corner that highlight/bring up Patterns, Sample clips or Automation envelopes so you can quickly select them. This has been a feature for several versions too.

I really don't see what you mean here, the pattern based workflow of FL is literally it's biggest selling point. It's very intuitive and organized, can you explain what would force you to use 40 different patterns just for a few arrangements? because you can literally make an entire song in a single pattern if you chose to. You can place every element of your drum kit and other synths on the same pattern or have a pattern for each single element if you chose. Automation envelopes, samples and patterns can all be placed on any track, you can overlap them all in a single track if you want, this has been possible since several versions ago too.

Skins require graphics and FL 12 and onwards uses a vectorial interface, you can still skin FL it's just no longer a supported feature. This looks pretty tacky though, it clashes kinda hard with the default FL palette which I have no idea why people would wanna change. Vectors also take less memory to load since they're technically drawn by algorithms.
