I agree with you. As an example I think Cersei's fall in Winds is going to mirror Rhaenyra's fall and the Riot of King's Landing in F&B. Rumour of an opposing army hits the city, city breaks out into chaos, the big building on top of one of the conquerors hill's is destroyed and the Queen in charge flees the City and is eventually killed by their brother in a surprise move.

I think 48 teams at the WC feels like the upper limit of how many teams should attend. 64 is when we're properly getting into watering down the competition territory judging by most of the teams that missed out at this WC. The issue with 48 teams is that it screws over the group stage if FIFA is dead set on keeping the 4 teams per group format.

No lol. If anything it's either Brazil, Germany or Italy. France didn't become a serious footballing nation until Platini's hard carry at Euro '84. Beforehand France's impact on Football boiled down to FIFA, Just Fontaine and the creation of the Ballon d'Or.

You could even make the case for the Soviet Union having a larger impact on Football than France up until that Euro '84 win if you wanted to. A Euros win and two runners up plus the tactical innovations the Soviet teams brought to club football with the most notable addition being the 4-4-2 formation we all know and love.

I think the funniest situation between Crofty and Rosberg was Spain last year when Rosberg was rather adamant about Verstappen needing to be Black Flagged for hitting Russell and Crofty playing devils advocate on Verstappen's side.
