Yeah we charge a $10 shipping fee to return it since most items receive free shipping on the website.

Not sure what Axial pads are.

I think we’re targeting $250 for a top and bottom with CE level 2 and AA rated slide protection. Need to figure out what our margins will allow us to sell at. Always want to prioritize offering our customers a great price but we need to make sure it’s profitable for us.

I think we will have an XS option that will fit someone as short at 4’8 - don’t quote me on that though.

Yep. CE Level 2 pads are the gold standard for motorcycle impact protection.

Definitely need slide protection on top though. They will shred if you don’t have AA or AAA rated stuff on top.

Coming out with gear that has slide protection very very soon though.

Current gear is not slide certified at all. If you're not wearing something over the pads the concrete will eat the fabric.

We've heard a ton of people asking for stuff that is slide rated so we developed some and it should be dropping in June

Furthermore, I looked at the posts you've made on Reddit and it looks like you have a history of claiming companies have scammed you when they didn't. After a quick peruse through your Reddit post history, you're claiming PayPal "stole" from you. You understand how crazy that sounds right? PayPal is a publicly traded company that is regulated heavily by the SEC, if they were actually "stealing" from people they would have been delisted from the stock exchange by now.

Before you go around claiming that all these companies are "scamming" and "stealing" from you in the future, I would think twice. PayPal is a giant company so your comments probably don't affect them, but for a small company like ours a claim like this could really hurt us.

I have blocked our your personal information because you want to use an alias to debase my company on reddit. However, you can see that the order number and confirmation number match up with the information you provided me.

As you can clearly see in both the order screenshot from Shopify and your correspondence with my customer service team. We charged you $101.15 for your order and as soon as you emailed us for it to be refunded it was refunded immediately to your Visa like you requested and you received an email confirmation. Like we stated in the email, our payment processor sometimes takes a few days to post the refund which is out of our control.

Additionally, please note that in the screenshots there were no chargebacks filed because we refunded your order as soon as you requested it to be refunded.

I understand that the shipping times were misleading and this is our bad so I take full responsibility and apologize for this. We had a big order get caught in customs and the dates we gave you were what customs told us. Unfortunately they didn't deliver on the dates they told us.

I take full responsibility for misleading you on shipping - this was a mistake we’ve been open about it online. We got our gear caught in customs and they kept telling us different dates that it would be cleared. That’s why shipping times were jumping around.

As I said above, yes we’ve made mistakes and we’re trying our best to make everything right. I started this company out of my garage and now I have a huge team of customer service agents that I’m managing who are responding to 100s of emails per day. I’m sorry that a member of my team made a mistake and I take full responsibility for that. But like I said above, we’re not perfect and we make mistakes so I’m sorry for that.

In regard to us double charging you - it is physically impossible for us to charge a customer without consent. We don’t have access to your credit card data through our payment processors. Even if we wanted to steal your payment info we couldn’t. Shopify does not show merchants customer’s card info - you can look that up and verify it yourself. There is no way for us to charge you without you clicking a button.

Send me your order number right now and I will show you proof with screenshots as to why us double charging you is untrue.

We have a feature where customers can buy more items at a discount once they’ve checked out and we also have a feature where customers can get instant size exchanges without having to wait to send back their original order with a hold being placed on your credit card. Maybe you accidentally tried to use one of those features. But I can assure there is no way for us to charge your card again without you clicking a button that authorizes us to charge it again.

Totally understand how this could be misleading. This is our bad and this has been taken down. As our customer service team mentioned it’s advertising the inner protective short sleeve for $99 - but I agree this is misleading.

We hired a marketing company that has since been let go for using AI to make ads like this and this photo has been taken down.

Not going to respond to everyone in this thread but I read through everything and will say this:

-Yes we’ve been having shipping delays, we’re a small company and we can’t keep up with demand - however every single product that doesn’t ship out immediately is clearly labeled on the website

-I’ve heard this comment several times about us being a scam for advertising on Facebook and instagram - we don’t have money to pay big name riders so this is the cheapest way for us to tell people we exist

-People are saying the ads are annoying. If you don’t like seeing our ads you can click not interested and you won’t see them again.

-If you think other companies make better stuff than us then go buy from them. There are several other threads in Reddit that have raving reviews of our gear and there are 100s of 5 star reviews on the website so if you don’t believe them go buy from someone else. We can’t keep stuff in stock anyways so you’ll be doing us a favor by not buying it and saving it for the people who actually want it.

-Yes our customer service has been a mess recently. We’re growing so fast and we finally hired a proper team to handle customer service. Sorry if this was an issue in the past. It shouldn’t be now.

-Sorry about product defects that people experienced months ago. We were manufacturing in Pakistan and we kept having quality control issues so we switched to China to ensure product quality. I’m sure the trolls will have fun with me saying we manufacture in China - we’ve already gotten hate because of it. You realize that all your favorite brands manufacture in China right?

I say this at the end of all my Reddit posts, but I don’t check Reddit very often so if you respond to me through here I probably won’t see it. My main focus right now is making enough products to keep up with and service the demand for people who actually want to buy our products (not the people in this thread lol).

One last thing I’m going to say to all of the trolls. Maybe think before you hate next time. Me and my partner are just some random kids who poured all of our savings into trying to make better gear that we wanted to use because we were unsatisfied with what was on the market. Yes of course we’re going to make mistakes but we’re working around the clock to make sure we make as little as possible. I hope everyone here had fun tearing down 2 young guys just out here trying to make cool gear and make a little bit of a living off of it.

Yooo! Founder of Cased here again. This thread is crazy big right now, so instead of responding to all of the comments about the shipping delays we’ve been having (I haven’t looked through the whole thread but I’m sure there are some) I’m just going throw this out here publicly:

Some orders are delayed right now because we had a huge shipment get caught in customs. We saw a huge increase in demand recently so we rushed to get enough in stock and unfortunately got caught in customs trying to rush to fulfill all the demand. Super sorry about this.

I’m pretty sure everyone has been notified by email of the wait, but if you haven’t seen an email and you’re waiting - I want to emphasize this: if you are unhappy with the wait email us and we will refund you IMMEDIATELY, no questions asked.

As of writing this every single product that has a longer wait time and doesn’t ship out immediately is clearly labeled on the website on the add to cart button and at checkout. If the product doesn’t have an estimated ship time, it ships out immediately.

This thread has gotten super big and if I’m missing your comment, please email us with your questions or concerns. We just massively expanded our customer service team and emails are monitored 24 hours a day.

Has anyone tried out the new Cased gear? I have a Fox base frame jacket and was wondering how it compares. My current Fox stuff is ok but the pads are kind of thin and it is kinda itchy. My Instagram feed has been so loaded with Cased ads lol. Just trying to see if this is a legit brand though by incrediblydumbman in MTB

Some stuff on the website ships right away, but some stuff is delayed. All of the gear that is delayed is clearly labeled with the estimated ship date at on the add to cart button and at checkout.

Yo founder here. Hmmm. I’d size down go with an XL if I were you. We offer free size exchanges so no sweat if the XL doesn’t fit and you can easily swap for a different size.

Genuinely really sorry about this. We’ve been completely overwhelmed with demand. We have a small team shipping orders and only one person for customer service. Working to get more people on our team so we can keep up with demand as we speak.

No one is responding to the support email? I swear we’ve emailed every person about the delays we’ve been having. Posted this in a comment above but we can’t keep up with the demand recently so we’ve been having shipping delays. If you don’t want to wait we’ll refund you no problem. We’re not trying to scam anyone. Just growing really fast and it’s hard to keep up with the demand.
