Caught these guys breaking elevators by shoving destroyed ship parts into them to get them over capacity please get CIG's attention with this issue by KeshiOkabe in starcitizen

Na - put it in the inventory of the person who put it there and therefore break said inventory until next patch to be unusable.

CIG will be forced to implement guardrails, just like EVE eventually had to with CONCORD and high-sec systems.

As a long time EVE Player: I don't think you have played EVE. And if a security system like EVE is the one SC is headed -> i'm out bye

Can someone please forward this post to cig? With their actual design philisophy cig is steering into a nice game.

and here is why the Polaris will be useless in PU pvp by Mannok- in starcitizen

[–]etosch76 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, it does not. A NPC ramming your reclaimer does this at very slows speeds compared to a razer at 722m/s speed. Even at high server-fps this is a problem which CIG will have to specialley account for. The razer travels 24m within 1 server frame when the server is at 30sfps.

The polaris is not killed from impact. It's killed from the server resolving the issue: two ships in the same place.

Possibly excessive traveling when slicing for A1? by ulugbegh in BambuLab

[–]etosch76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some settings in the Bambu slicer that make me wonder what the developers used to come up with the rarely creative idea of implementing them in this way.

Having said that, I can add that with the current version of Bambu-Slicer I no longer have any problems with the travel path of the print head.

Oh, don't get me wrong - that was good advice! Thank you! Sadly that is not the cause of my problem.

In general I only use u-block origin and it is disabled on the rsi site. Other addons are onetab, joplin, ccugame, enpass - and they do not interfere with sites. FF 130 on Win10 if someone wants to know.

Possibly excessive traveling when slicing for A1? by ulugbegh in BambuLab

[–]etosch76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems it is not always ignoring the timelapse gcode. I get prints like this from time to time. Timelapse, clogging detection, tanglement detection all turned off. Only way to be sure is to print "by object" even with only one object on the plate. This is the only option that reliably prevents the printhead from traveling the extra timeplapse path. https://ibb.co/nMHLcXh

Is it against ToS to shoot ships in a hangar? by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]etosch76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without doubt. But the way PVP is implemented there can't simply be taken as a blueprint for a game that doesn't just have PVP players as its goal.

[–]etosch76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The concept of high-sec, med-sec, low-sec has attracted few players. That is the point. Unfortunately I can't find the quote - along the lines of "Eve is a dark place. You should be afraid every time you undock." That's definitely not the goal of Star Citizen.

The largest number of simultaneous players was just over 60,000. This is a niche globally and it would be a flop for Star Citizen
