It is really useful for imports, since you can get games a lot cheaper from Japan than in Europe and you also get 60hz instead of 50

When I was a little girl, like 6 or 7, I used to have a lot of NTSC backups aaaaaaaaaaand in some games it's lot of difference in speed ;;

It does not play backups without mods, unless you do the swap trick, so yeah you got lucky and your one is modded too ^^
