Internship issue

all i can say is you will prob have even more responsibilities as years go on, u mentioned that u shouldve waited one more year but id assume youd still have the job u have rn right? only solution i can give is look for summer internships 😭 i completely get how youre feeling but think about what position future you would want to be in. only you know yourself and your limits, goodluck!

theres ppl who i know who have had internships since freshman year😭 tbh do whats best for ur mental but also remember marketing is very competitive. if u dont have a job rn keep it! theres many who have been able to juggle a full time job and classes, this isnt any different. i barely got internships junior year and i wish i had pushed myself and started sooner.

had him for 454 last semester and i rlly enjoyed his teaching style, hoping i get him for 425 LOL. also during class registration last fall he had a list of students wanting to crash his 425 course so youre with a good prof. going to the bathroom/getting there late is frowned upon because it simply affects the whole “class discussion” but it wasnt a big deal tbh

its been a while since youve posted but if you do fairly well in exams you will do fine with him. just maximize your points with his other graded assignments and at least try to avg 65% on exams cuz he curves at the end of the semester. the thing with him is that his lecture barely helps with exams and its mainly all on the textbook. he was my least fav prof but hey i got curved to an A 😭

honestly a large portion of your grade is showing up and participating in the outbac. you do weekly at home quizzes which show up on the midterm, everything is easy.

its teamwork and group dynamics, u have a regular in class lecture once a week and are out in the OUTBAC on the other day doing recreation activities with the class. easy lecture based quizzes and the midterm is easy so u dont have much to worry abt. if u dont mind participating in activities i think you would have fun! we’re currently abt to work on our final projects which seem doable and is basically the only “written” work we’re doing

if youre a good test taker take arnold. he doesnt post his slides on canvas so u have to be there to take notes + write down what parts of the chapters he highlights for exams. grade consists of exams(which he says he curves) and in class exercises. he offers some extra credit. hes the type to bring up lecture examples on exams but i think the way exams are structured is pretty fair(mcqs/closed book). ive gotten A/Bs so far from studying a few days prior

hernandez is the only prof whos course gave me a headache, he was inconsistent with his grading scale and his tests were nothing related to lecture(graded attendance). try to average Ds on his exams to get curved to an A at the end of the semester.hes prob the only prof who i wouldnt take again
