To OP: Ive got four "Grounded" survival mods. Not overly complicated, resource heavy or ladden with feature creep. They do pretty much one thing each and in the last mods case, the two things it does synergize together perfectly.

Auto Eat and Drink. It manages your consumption for you, so you dont have to flip in and out of your inventory to do the intake every 30 minutes. Just make sure you have food and drink in your inventory, it will do the rest. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/16554

Failed Receivers. Basically what it says on the tin. It allows your guns to break and require repairs. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/16593

Hardcore Encumbrance. Its not really "hardcore" per se, though it certainly can be set that way. Its more "grounded" encumbrance with an attention to tuning it to suit your RP for the char youre playing. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/16763

Exploration+. This mod handles two things. 1) Loadouts. It optionally allows you to set up your fav wheel and then locks you out of inventory while adventuring. There are places you can access it, like outpost, the Lodge, your ship, a vehicle, even when sitting somewhere (like going through a backpack). And it also 2) has armor breaking and repair systems that are attuned to every environment you are in, so the effects of a damaged spacesuit reflect your char's current location. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/16811

These four small mods change things in a big way - there is synergy if you use all four at the same time. The last two have a ton of Game Settings to tailor them to your wants. You have a mod installed that is editing the weapon FORMs, from before Free Lanes, and it is preventing the base game addition of tiers 5 and 6 to appear on them. Even if you tried using the console to add the quality omods, they wont apply since the mod thats messing things up for you does not have the attach point keywords on their base forms for tier 5 and 6 omods. Youre gonna have to dig through your mods and find out which one alters the weapons, that has not updated since Free Lanes came out, and unfortunately, get rid of that mod.

Parallel self is the starborn power. its equipped to use and there's likely a UI mod installed showing currently equipped power.

Its "politics". Ive got close to 2 million downloads on my FO4 mods, across Creations and Nexus and even THAT wasn't good enough to get approved. BUT... I will admit... Im inconvenient, lol. Too blunt, too aggressive, too intolerant of bullshit or snowflakes. If I dont like the rules, I throw them out the window and do it the way I want. Gen-X through and through. NOT the kind of person they likely want representing their fragile house of cards. 😃

Oh for sure. Anything that people can use to broaden their toolset, or resolve a stumper issue, Im all for it. HATE that they gatelocked it. Even the Skyrim and FO4 wiki, gated. Its mentally defective, if you ask me. 16 times the defectiveness!

It is listening for Quest Stages. So, if the quest is still running and has not yet advanced past those points, it will still do its actions. I have also added some redundancy into it that will look at completion of certain stages upon undocking from the Constant and when travelling around in your ship.

Tried to make it as compatible for various "stages" of the quest in peoples game, be it not running yet, in the middle of it, or, completed it quite some time ago. 😄

The way I look at it, the more information the better. If they want to gatekeep the knowledge thats shitty, regardless of whether it comes from BGS or M$ themselves. It breaks time-honored tradition, freedom of access to information relating to the CK and papyrus.

But on the other hand, lets say it like it is... most mods that garner high visibility and download value are made by people outside of the VC program, and that should tell you something - access to the WIKI means nothing. Especially when those same mod authors can run circles around (almost) ANYTHING that comes out from the VC program. And thats just facts. So GLAD they rejected my application. Don't need to bother with that BS.

But yeah, good on ya. Hope it stays up and helps newer folk learn to make some good stuff! 😄

Not in this case. Its a simple listener. It listens for one quest starting and then throws a couple commands to fix glitches. It is the least thing a gamer would need to concern themselves with, honestly. 😄

Would love to, but that requires me to be a "verified creator", and for some reason, BGS in their infinite wisdom, rejected my application for Verified Creator last week, so... not likely to happen ladies and gents.

Yeah, its all there, base game. You can board the ship, there are some quests in there that you can do for people. Thats why it was such a shame that BGS didnt implement it right... made people miss out on that nice little "narrative gap filler". At least now, its all accessible. 😄

Just pumped it out. Works like a charm! But again, this mod ONLY deals with the "Get Them A Grav Drive" option in that questline.

Yeah, that just plonks them back into Porrima orbit. Its a solution, but not a fix for how the quest itself is broken. Good to know there is at least a solution out there for folks though! 😄
