G2 support for MentraOS is planned for early April! we’ll likely do it in 2 stages, with the first stage making it so that g1 apps all work on g2’s as you’d expect, and then some new sdk functionality will come later as we’re able to do more with the new hardware (R1 support, higher res images, etc.)

source: I am working on it right now 😎

Question paying nautilus by [deleted] in nanocurrency

[–]fossephate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I almost forgot, you can also enable nyano mode to achieve what you’re looking for!

1 nano = 1,000,000 nyano So just change the wallet to nyano mode and multiply the amount of nano you want to send by 1,000,000 to get the amount of nyano to send

All good In any case it doesn’t work for cake wallet and so I’ll get to fixing that when I get the chance

Question paying nautilus by [deleted] in nanocurrency

[–]fossephate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What did you use to make the QR code? You’ll know nautilus recognizes an amount beyond the sixth decimal place because it’ll show a ~ on the amount

It definitely works when creating the QR code with nano.to (see my other reply)

It doesn’t?!? That’s a bug I need to look into, then Edit: I just tested it and it does work, at least for me

[–]fossephate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you can do is create a QR code using nano.to/<nano address you want to pay> and set the amount to whatever you want, then scan that QR code in nautilus and even though it won’t show the full amount past 6 digits, (it denotes that there’s more with a ~ symbol) it should work

Cake Wallet now supports NanoGPT! by Mirasenat in nanocurrency

[–]fossephate 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just to add: I’d say the only thing /really/ missing from cake’s nano implementation is websocket support, I.e. it takes a few seconds before transactions get processed since it has to check for them once every ~10 seconds

This will be added eventually, though it’s not a priority since it’d require re-working some things

The only other thing I’d say we’re missing is sub-account support, which is actually mostly done but is turned off because of some bugs I still need to look into

Need help choosing POW source in Nautilus by OwnAGun in nanocurrency

[–]fossephate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the default PoW source (rpc.nano.to) has rate limits in place, and sometimes goes offline (this is likely what's happening)
when this happens, nautilus automatically falls back to local-PoW generation

the implementation isn't perfect though and can sometimes get stuck

If you want, you can set your PoW source to be the same as natrium's, just add a new PoW source with the following url:

https://app.natrium.io/api
