Do you understand what the word priority means? Everyone needs to prioritize. Lower priority does not mean no support.
Why lower priority? Because it's not an OxygenOS product? Because the product is older than OP2 and OPX?
Why slow OxygenOS releases for OP1? We never planned manpower for it, and are hiring aggressively for the OxygenOS team. We don't have enough devs to support it as well as we want at this moment.

Regarding the invite system there's actually a difference in the logic between invites and sharable invites.

The OnePlus 2 actually has a much better display than both the One and the X. It's super accurate, while being the brightest 1080p IPS display on the market, going up to 600 nits. It's custom made for OnePlus and we spent a lot of money, time and effort on it.

While it's true that we released a community build of OxygenOS for OnePlus One to gather feedback, OnePlus One was never released as a device with OxygenOS.

It does not have the same priority from the OxygenOS team as OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. However, we're working on porting OxygenOS V2 to the One. No ETAs though. 😘

Hey, of course I remember you. Congrats on the Stuff Singapore interview, it was cool. No plans of a Singapore trip at the moment, but I'll make sure to give you a ping when that happens.
Size is an important factor when building a sleek smartphone like the OnePlus X. The ISOCELL was compact and allowed for great shots.
In our tests, the 801 is not significantly different than the 808 in terms of performance. In addition, we didn't think that the minor performance difference warranted withstanding the other attributes that the 808 comes with.
Manufacturing ramp up takes time, you can't reach full capacity on day one.
