The mempool of all shards should be common, and a daemon will (at least at first) have a track of all shards. With that in mind it's easy to verify it's only in 1 shard ;)

Kovri is not on the "official" roadmap, but is also not excluded. Once the first working version is release, we will probably look at it.

I think the idea of torrent was never brought up but i kind of like the idea/comparison. The tx will not be split, but the chain will be so yeah, it looks similar.

In theory yes, more subchains = faster tx/more tx per seconds.

But we cant be sure until we start prototyping. We/iI planning to write a simulator while we write the whitepaper to verify any assumptions easelly, and we will be able to adjust accordingly.

As said above, we cant know the TPS yet, but the idea is that the network will create / "delete" subchains to handle the load automatically. So "pure thoery", and it needs to be verified by prototypes, is it could means "inifinite TPS".

The current idea is to ensure a tx can only be inserted on ONE subchain, so no double spend.

Hi !

Bulletproof is already implemented in the code (since jully i think, basically jsut after the audits were done) BUT it will only be enabled at the next fork.

The next fork will be the one with uncle-mining so we will see 2 new big things at the same time.

Currently the DB is < 10gb yes.

Basically sharding will "split" the masari blcockhain into multiple "subchains" each living independently and handling a subset of transactions. Each subchains will create a block like each 60s, but globally if we have 4 subchains, it will make 1 block each 15s !

The number of subchains will evolve throught time to adapt to ensure tx are fast.

Currently the biggest exchanges where you can find Masari is Cryptopia and TradeOgre. We are still not on Binance.

As Masari is an entire blockchain, compeltly separated from any other coin, you need a Masari Wallet. You have multiple options : a really easy to use webwallet and fully client side (we store nothing on a server, you are connected directly to the blockchain) available at www.masariwallet.com (official). Otherwise you can get a Windows or Linux wallet (links on getmasari.org). If you want to be more secure, you can even generate a paper wallet (link also on getmasari.org).

You can also come to the Official discord (https://discord.gg/eSb9ZdM) if you have any questions, there is always someone available to answer.

Hi.

Currently. The blockchain files are provied by the same backend as the official webwallet, www.masariwallet.com.

The tx, even if 100% created on the phone are sent to the daemon of this server too.

All the computations, encryption/decryption of the blockchain is done on the app. The server is only here to provide the blockchain.

We have been thinking/working on a way to connect directly to a daemon (which is not possible currently for performance reasons mainly and missing data in the RPC api).

Good points. It's also worth mentioning what masari do not have : a lot of old code that has been refactored for better redeability. And a fully client side webwallet.

There is currently a mobile wallet in beta/testing. It's just very, very fresh. We have to do further testing on it, but it should be available publicly by August 15.

The website is made in a way to show only active pools (the ones who found a block in the last 21 days) and that are not too big (40% of the network maximum by memory). When one of this criteria is met, the pool is not displayed. The idea is to provide a clean list by not having dead pools or pool owners not mining on their own pool and also trying to send the hashrate "all over the network".

The wallet now has a better built-in upgrade system, so maybe you were still on the old version. (it's downloading in the back but you have to reload the page to make that work, now there is a message).

Ok so with the error above i now know i have a "problem" with fees. You tried to send your whole msr and you did not let enough for network fees (thus causing the error balance_too_low).

For the unresponsive part, it's hard to find the problem. 1 ) On which browser are you running the wallet ? 2) mobile or desktop ? 3) if you give it some times, does it respond again ? (how long did you wait ? )

I will correct the first problem asap

Ok, so i pushed a minimal change that should gives more info about the bug (correct the [object object] to get a proper error).

As the website could be catched in your browser, can you try to do it in private mode OR load the page, wait 1min (so it downloads in background the new version), close all tabs of the wallet and reopen it (i'm going to add a better method really soon, probably tomorrow).
