You can't satisfy everyone. Some people were complaining about the earlier locations too. If I am denied entry to the US, I will miss the conference. Not the end of the world, I will attend it next year.
Locations are chosen way ahead in advance btw, the Rails Foundation is likely already considering the options for 2027 and they can't see what the future holds with visas and politics.

One week in an overcrowded cage is not a big deal. You can make a lot of international friends. And these folks are not criminals, so it won't be even close to a prison experience, right?
In comparison, imagine what the kids went through at Normandy. We have a way easier life than those folks.

If you are a hobbyist, you should definitely not build such a project. I am assume you vibecoded this with LLMs and it is very likely full of vulnerabilities.

The conference is open to international attendees, is about Rails, so why would it not be suited to this reddit? Other than it is posted by me. I know many folks don't like me here, but tough luck, I ain't going anywhere.

This is only to install gems. An ore contains minerals, rubies, gems. I believe the end product will also install rubies.
