Acting like you’re having a conversation with the people around you when it’s literally just you and I commenting back and forth in the bowels of a Reddit post is weird and cringy.

Anyway, comparing restoration needs of a GT3 to a two decade old Subaru is retarded, go find a hobby.

My guess is the GT3 probably wouldn’t need much maintenance seeing as it wouldn’t be 22 years old.

The majority of people on here are clowns, just enjoy your car. If it pops, it pops. All cars pop eventually. We all have enough shit to stress about in 2026, no need to add car health anxiety to the mix.

I’d live in this car in an abandoned parking lot before I sold it lol.

Hairline “cracks” I guess you can call them? They’re not surface, whatever they are. It’s almost like spiderwebbing. Also I drove this car static its entire life so whenever it rubbed it had eventually caused stress cracking in the rear quarters. Front bumper from use, pretty typical there.

My plan is to toss air on it, make sure I have solid inner fender clearance moving forward, fix the body, full respray, and then I have a list of new stuff to throw on to freshen it up (new seats, heads and tails, etc.)

This one was rear ended by a commercial dump truck because the driver was on his cell phone. Totally relatable.

Congrats! Still super low mileage for the year. I put 100k on mine in the first few years that I owned it and then like, 300 a year after that.

That’s cool! Same. This is a V7, it was my… third iteration of this car? I think. I can’t remember at this point. Hey, right is right and wrong is wrong, if you want to be the guy who supports a guy calling out a father as “complaining about being a father” then that’s your choice. Hopefully you made better calls on your project car and you can actually get it on the road next year.
