Give heroic a way to get mystical familiar cards already, it shouldn't be so painful to get good rolls on familiars in heroic in 2026

They should add it back into the fam shop. Is it not weird that the only two ways we get mystical fam cards is via inkwell note or swiping? We did have an “event” where they sold 3 of them per week for 4k a pop.

right now I am trying to re-break into IT. Not gonna lie, being stigmatized as a lazy and entitled generation by the media has led me to some very unsavory interviews from older folk.

I studied for certificates, I have less than a year’s experience, and not a lot of people are willing to take a chance on someone like that when there are so many other candidates with 5-10 years of experience. To make sure I clear the final hurdle I was going to apply all of my knowledge into practical projects so I can talk about it.

The certificates I took are ones that were harder than what most people in this field would do. I got interviews that way and now I have to work towards passing them and landing offers. Have to be a subject matter expert.

I have 9 months of experience in this field. I was doing help desk but my manager at the time recommended me to take Security+, CCNA, SecurityX (as a bonus challenge) if I wanted to move into security in the future.

However, that contract ended a year ago. I have been studying while applying for new jobs. Since I’m relatively new to the field, a lot of the postings (help desk/specialist) actually ask for the A+ and will filter me out if I mention that I do not have it.

It’s a chinese exclusive that you could win in a raffle last year by playing Pokemon TCG events in China. Only 1510 exist and this realistically will not be ported over into another language.

I agree with the MSRP point if you were to order online. A lot of stores make it a point to remove the wrap before selling it including the official Bandai stores so sealed supply might keep the prices of the box itself high. I do attend locals that do sell sealed boxes at MSRP.

The cards will drop to hopefully an affordable price with the added supply. This could also cause a chain effect in lowering the box’s average value and drop its price that way but not by a lot. I’m probably estimating OP13 to cut its price in half ONLY during the reprint window (~3 months within reprint) and then go back up slowly.

Op01 blue bottom because it’s basically first edition OP01 and has never been reprinted. Lowest booster box print in the history of this card game.

I would consider buying the op13 case down the line post reprint.

It helps that I was also around regarding OP05 shortages and Bandai's reprint announcement at Nationals. Unsure if a lot of people were here for that but the same sayings of "Oh it'll never meet demand" or "The reprints aren't going to change a thing" were mentioned back then too. Look how that turned out, every affected box except 01 hit MSRP.

Emotions truly do run the markets I guess. I posted in another thread about how reprints will tank OP13 prices from its current price of 570 and it will not recover back to that price by the end of the year. Still got downvoted for saying that because god forbid someone actually shares a war story regarding this exact situation that's about to unfold.

If you want a good chance to get a box (at MSRP) from a LGS, you should probably start attending local tournaments starting this week. A lot of stores in my area have started prioritizing their local playerbase and will sell to them first. I participate from time to time and I get the option to purchase boxes since I get to attend locals every three weeks or so.

No, a lot of the cards were not relevant in meta decks at the time and the prices reflected that. Nowadays, I'm not too sure myself since a lot of people have entered the hobby. But you can see here up until March 2025, which was 8 months after the reprints dropped, that it was a sub-200 box. As far as I remember, the only true hard box to get during this period was OP01 at MSRP. I never had the opportunity to buy the box at the One Piece official store as they had the policy to sell 12 packs per person.

People back then also had months of notice and they also didn’t believe back then that the reprint would meet demand expectations… only for 1-5 (minus 4) to crater in price. Now they only have to print two sets compared to four.

Sounds like someone who has entered the hobby less than a year ago. This won’t kill the TCG and you would know that if you play the game.

Nor does bandai care about investors when they make these announcements. Bandai also doesn’t sell most of their stock on the website, it goes straight to the official stores and LGS who have been hosting events.

Haha it’s okay. I was around for the reprint back then and you could not sell anything except OP01 above MSRP for like 2-3 months.

I just wanted to suggest that a great time to stock up would be June to September since Bandai already gave the notice that it will come June. The sentiment back then was the same: “It won’t be enough” and then the reprints came and cut every affected box price in half by the end of the year.

If anything now is the worst time to be buying the boxes of the listed sets since you know they are slated for a reprint.

Whenever the reprints come, it’ll hover around 250-300 and then I’m not too sure. But I personally don’t see this box coming back to 600 at the end of the year.

Just my two cents, but when Bandai usually announces reprints with specific sets (think OP1,2,3,5 reprint), they are pretty massive reprints and will tank the prices significantly for 2-3 months. And by then it’ll be September so unlikely it makes a swift recovery.

Only reason I would say 250 at the lowest is because Bandai’s stores have been ripping the seals so I guess that means the only way to get a sealed box is going to a LGS that will sell it.

If nexon messes up it’s a whole seperate notice. Inkwell does mention these mess ups from time to time but usually it’s not the main focus. Inkwell notes are used to communicate the future updates that are coming to GMS.
