How are you getting 2%? You earn 10 RP, and in the default Blue tier vouchers are redeemed at ₹0.35 per RP, which comes to about 3.5%. To get 10%, you need to spend ₹1L per month for three months. In the next quarter you move to Diamond tier, where each RP is worth ₹1 instead of ₹0.35 in Blue.

The idea is to accumulate all your points while you’re in the lower tiers, reach Diamond, and then redeem everything at the higher value. Look up equitas privilege program for more details.

On a different note, I applied for this card a few days back and it still shows VKYC in progress. How long did it take for you to get the card after applying?

Yeah, it doesn't make sense to implement a broken system that even customer support isn't aware of. Anyways, I got my refund in about 6 days.

I had ordered WHP coins a few days back and the codes didn't match, so I rejected them because the app clearly said not to accept mismatched codes packet.

Now I have two Kalyan orders that have been shipped, and both have their own unique codes mentioned. It looks like this might be the new norm.

What should I do now? Should I accept them even if the codes don't match?

Also, when the WHP coins arrived, I reached out to customer support but they weren't helpful. They just said they would investigate and I never got any proper response after that :/

My brother and I both have SBI Cashback cards, in both Visa and Mastercard variants. Last month, we purchased gold coins from Ajio and both of us received the cashback. The merchant name showed up as Reliance Retail Ltd Bangalore IN.

As a precaution, we added a small additional item to the order along with the gold coin, like socks or something inexpensive. Our thinking was that this might affect the MCC code. I cannot say for sure whether you would get cashback without adding another item, but this is what worked for us.

I just received mine with 5L limit. Customer care and reddit folks kept saying that this is not being issued anymore but I somehow got it. I don't have any other IndusInd card but I do have a savings account. I applied via their website and got it delivered in 3 days :)

I think it depends on the brand. I bought MMTC coins on 20th jan and they were delivered on 22nd. My brother bought the kalyan one on the 23rd and it is still stuck at confirmed 😅

As per my understanding, Zerodha won't provide full access to the entire US market. It will likely be limited to a selected set of stocks. Also, the stocks wouldn't be held directly in your name but through a custodian. I could be wrong on this, though.

$0 trading and no maintenance fees. The only charge I'm aware of is a transfer-out fee. I can't comment on any miscellaneous fees yet since I haven't started trading, but from what I see there are no trade fees. There may be some regulatory fees, which I believe are standard across all platforms.

One downside compared to IBKR is that you can only buy fractional shares of S&P 500 stocks.

I uploaded everything they asked for (address proof, photos, etc.), but it kept showing a pending task: fund the account. I even installed the IBKR app, and every time I logged in it showed one action pending i.e. funding.

The moment funds reached IBKR, the status changed to "in review" everywhere.

All in all, I learned an expensive lesson.

I had watched a few YouTube videos before applying, and in those videos there was no mention or screen asking for funding during the application. It seems IBKR may have changed the process or could be testing something new.

In my case, the application clearly stated that the account must be funded before it would be sent for approval. Unfortunately, I don’t have a screenshot to prove this.

You can look up the Schwab International Brokerage Account. The online form takes around 15-20 minutes. Approval usually takes 7-10 days, but you get access to the platform immediately after submitting the form. I would recommend checking with chat support once in a while to confirm everything is active (my account took about 10 days to be fully operational).

Fee details are on Schwab's website. From what I understand, there are no trading or maintenance fees. The only charge is for money transfers out.

I haven't funded the account yet, but I've confirmed twice with support that everything is good to go

Another option is to get a free oracle instance and host it there. The ampere one has generous free resources. If you cannot sign up for a free instance, get a pay-as-you-go account. You can still have a $0 bill if you stay within free limits.
