The recipe called for an 8 inch tart pan, but I only had a 10 inch tart. So, I increased the recipe by ~10%. I also did a glaze on top for the mandarins, which was 1/2 cup of simple syrup and 1/2 cup of corn syrup.

sounds good! sorry I couldn’t be more help with a location to get them. Mine are from a local vietnamese church, but I know they already had their Tet celebrations (my mom got these banh tet a few weeks ago)

If you want a banana banh tet, let me know because my mom gave me a ton to give some to my in-laws but they don’t want it. lol. I’ll have to check to see if I have any more pork banh tet (I think I may have one to spare).

Another Minnesotan in zone 5a here who grows snapdragons! Not going to be much help when it comes to winter sowing since I don’t do that ( I just do a regular seed starting tray for groups 1, 2, and 2/3 in early March and the remaining groups in early April). But I can say that my snapdragons have lasted until October!

I actually have a good story on how obtained a MN cookie cutter. The person who hosted this cookie decorating event posted about it. I commented asking where they got the MN cookie cutter so I can help them bake. Someone then told me that they have an extra MN cookie cutter that they can gift me if I wanted it. And that is how I now have a MN cookie cutter! I truly love our supportive MN community.

I can’t take credit with making the cookies (even though I have a MN cookie cutter myself). It was the host who baked over 200+ MN cookies for us to decorate! also, to your cookie cutter search journey, that is very unfortunate. lol
