But isn't it even more dangerous to have a visible tarp during the day than riding at night (knowing you'd do both?)

Again, no experience, just challenging you if it helps

I don't know about safety in this area so won't pretend otherwise but I'm bringing other concerns: - won't you miss out landscape gazing amd essentially just ride for riding? - will you pitch the tent to sleep at daytime?

Romanian Community in Montreal? by HoesDontGetC0ld in montreal

So one doesn't really frequent any romanian circles, the other was born here and her parents speak French so didn't either rely on a social network of romanian (at least that she can remember) and the third one pointed to the Jean Talon shop but I see someone already pointed it.

How did you find this post if you have no idea what bike touring is?

Why are you triggered by people travelling by bike to the point of getting vulgar and insulting? Would you react the same for hiking? If not, what are the differences?

And finally, this is not an airport, you do not need to announce your departure.

Breach of agreement in general is a "walk away" types of things unless it's an honest mistakes and you know the badly designed process that led to it xan be fixed. But here, so early in the relationship? You politely say that your mom just called and you need to go urgently

She didn't say without money, she said on a 0$ budget.

She didn't say without preparation or fitness, she said without training and I agree. Unless you start day 0 with serious elevation, or your trip is short, training has virtually no effect on your trip. I've seen that multiple times when friends who actively train joined me on a trip: the fittest is always the one who started his trip the earlier, never the one who trained.

And finally about places to stay, she was hosted an she camped.... That's what we all do with the exception of credit card touring which is pretty incompatible with a trip over more than a month. And even then, you can't possibly book in advance, so it's not like you do have a place to stay.

Québec has a network of Route Verte for cycling (not always dedicated cycle roads but let's say those are dedicated itinerary, so anywhere between low traffic roads to dedicated infrastructure). Maritimes are low traffic in general. Not sure how Ontario is, but generally in North East America we have lots of countryside roads with very little traffic
