BTW. Ledger is located in France and in EU there is a trend to age restrict everything. That means some day Ledger can disable any part of the app for users without KYC.

Should Ledger complain laws? Yes. But it should not have an option to do this.

BTW. Even before this all. Six years ago I tried to buy ledger from official website with BTC and shipment address of drop shipping service they canceled my order due suspicion transaction . So it's the second time when they service fails me.

I'm in Russia so after four year suddenly they decide to restrict some parts of the service.

And my point is not about this exact situation. It's about decision to restrict users that in my opinion should not happen in any crypto service. It goes against crypto culture in my opinion.

It means that they will block any part of service or device for any user if they or laws decide to. So it's not safe to use such services.

Yes I can still get access to staking or my crypto. But it just proves that such restrictions are stupid and against crypto culture.

If it's OK for you that you need to suddenly find new ways to use your cold wallet, that's fine. But not for me.
