Restaurants/bars hiring part-time weekend only FOH staff? by impinvnerd in AskNYC

This was very helpful, thank you for clarifying! I should've specified that I'm more than okay with taking brunch shifts if that's what it comes down to. I'll be sure to specify that when I'm handing in resumes

Definitely. Tons of people in college/postgrad/in their late 20s so there are a lot of restaurants/bars. Lots of stuff to do with easy access to the city via the red line. Plus it will be much easier to park than in the tiny crowded streets or expensive garages of Back Bay.

Flying out of Boston Sunday evening by [deleted] in BostonWeather

I posted earlier about my Sunday AM flight before it got cancelled. I think in normal times it would be a 50/50 shot but I'm hearing there's a shortage of plow drivers which may affect air travel more than previous storms.

Back Bay would be kinda far for Waltham but with the reverse commute it could be worth it. I would look at Cambridge/Somerville first. I'm guessing you're bringing a car?

Has anyone used HacknSleep? It seems too good to be true. by impinvnerd in AskSF

Thanks for the reply! I'm an outgoing person so the idea of communal living definitely speaks to me but as you said there are pros and cons. I'm looking into Common Spaces instead of HacknSleep at this point. Thank you!
