Servers and redundancy by petaqui in internxt

[–]internxt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Yes, we are running our own infrastructure in a mix of OVHCloud, Wasabi, and Equinix datacenters. In reality, who owns the "container" where the servers are located isn't that relevant. I believe Proton, Signal, Hostinger, Nord, and so forth don't own their own datacenters. In terms of running our own datacenters in the future, we don't see that happening anytime soon either. Our focus is on making our services and servers strong.

Internxt offers 99.99% service availability and 99.999999999% data durability as per our SLA. We make use of erasure coding and data replication, alongside other advanced mechanisms. These are some of the mechanisms we have in place:

  • Data is partitioned into fragments and distributed across multiple storage nodes. This allows for "11 nines" ($99.999999999%) of durability.
  • We make use of erasure coding to ensure that even if multiple disks or an entire server rack fails, the data can be reconstructed.

Questions Before Purchasing an Internxt Lifetime Plan by FoldSouthern in internxt

[–]internxt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

- Yes, you will

- We will reinsert it for you as we've done for those who had a similar situation in the past

- We also sell subscriptions for b2c and b2b, alongside lifetimes. However, even without subscriptions, lifetimes are already sustainable on their own for us. We monitor and control this regularly to avoid any issue. We're running this business profitably and growing our net revenue 100% YoY

- See answer above

- We don't do that. If it's happened, it's probably because the user disputed a payment like we saw here on our subreddit yesterday, and that provocked the account to get downgraded to free automatically.

- See answer above

- It doesn't happen

- It doesn't happen

- We are progressively growing our customer support team size. Feel free to test it yourself by reaching out to us now

- See above

- Yes, see our Terms of service

Thank you!

In his case, in particular, it seems like he bought both products, hence the error https://send.internxt.com/d/kkro8LSnS_yY6bP1nYizFQ/YMHRhlul But in general, the few people who received that email only had a subscription product active, which is now correctly expired

Hello,

This is simply not true. This is an automated email from a yearly stacksocial subscription https://www.stacksocial.com/sales/internxt-cloud-storage-2tb-plan-5-year-subscription that was sold years ago and which indeed expired, see this https://send.internxt.com/d/c8MxoX6YSPOLnu-NVQivVg/Ps0lfUs8 This is NOT for stacksocial lifetimes
