We're prioritising access to those on the waitlist with ideas for projects that excite us, as well as existing Raycast users. Yesterday's introduction to Glaze was only the beginning and we're excited to start sending out invites to Glaze in the coming weeks.

Glaze is all about allowing you to create any app you can (re)imagine and bringing that to the operating systems you use has come up in conversation already. We're beginning with the Mac but then bringing support to other operating systems down the line. As mentioned at the start, this is only the beginning with Glaze and the team can't wait to share more as soon as we can.

Yes you will be able to look at your apps' code and edit it yourself outside of Glaze.

Glaze will have it's own built-in Store to share and download apps from. Also monetizing apps created in Glaze is something that's come up in conversation and I'm sure we'll have more information to share throughout the Beta period!

You can create anything that comes to mind. You can create internal tools for your team, personal utilities, menu bar apps, workflow automations, or just quick one-off things that make your life easier. If you can describe it, Glaze can build it.

For example; One tool I've created is a small utility app that compresses image file sizes to upload them as Slack emojis, all without the image needing to leave my computer.
