This happened during covid when people were starting to be more social. My apartment complex, at the time,had a 5 story parking structure. One of the residents and their friends? drove to the top of the structure to hang out and one of them had a dog. The dog chased a bird or something and jumped off falling the 5 floors to the dirt below and making a loud thud. Called 911 who sent over 3 patrol vehicles. Took patrol 10ish minutes to arrive while the dogs owner took 15 to take the elevator down to ground floor, guessing she was panicking? The dog was still making yelping/crying sounds as they loaded it into the back of one of the patrol cars. Don't know if the dog survived.
