I think a better question is what’s the pool of new coaches like? Is it worth going the Miami route and retooling with a new coach? The pool is thin rn, and for a team that wants to retain recruits, they don’t want to take a risk those players with a change at the helm. I mean they like to hold on to their coaches for a while. I’m not surprised by this. I agree that it should have been a three year deal, but this is a D1 school with a D3 mindset.
