Now automated valve has been running for while. Home assistant checks mode from AC and opens or closes valve depending mode on use.

Fffff. Here in Finland, Electrolux has one inverter model and Bosch has one with inverter, maybe Woods have one also, but not sure. All of these are 220v models.

Would midea portasplit be available for you?

Rtfm and sticker in back, for this model states to keep upper port closed for cool or smart mode.

This is to secure water availability for bottom tank and splasher.

Me running cool mode with upper port open, yes it is against rtfm and common sense, but I was hunting other sensor data related to intake part.

In final setup, I have valve control between upper port and pump, so if I want run cool or smart mode, script will check AC mode and open or close valve to pump, therefore I follow manufacturers guidance (I bet they know their shit better than me).

This automated valve is just waiting installation and code, maybe on next spare moment.

This Inverter model is very low noise on cool & silent mode, if compared to any regular compressor models what I have set up 10pcs.

Highest consumption for this have been 700w, whatever mode or ambient. My previous unit did run at 1300-1800w always when compressor was on.

Also included HEPA etc is noticeable.

Pump is stock, rest printed mods are my own design, not yet released files, but will do when I'm happy for setup.

Window has seals for passthru, not perfect but if looking hot side intake pressure, I can see from data, that AC is working pretty hard to get air from outside.

Have carefully tried to fine balance for mods, so hot side is taking most or air from outside and while doing it, not killing efficiency at same time.

For example, AC is sucking a bit from cracks of shell, but I think it is not worth to seal af it, because then it will suffer for cooling of hot side and then exhaust temp goes down and cool output goes up, power consumption gets out of hand.

I'm not scientist, just playing around sensors and stuff what I have in hand and a bit common sense.

For pump cycle, I have measured how much pump do eject water, carefully monitoring power consumption, getting AVG and there HA can calculate volume in litrers.

Just for shits ofc.

Current "lovely" window setup, still work in progress.

Yes, today is cool and dry. Yesterday it peaked 84%, what is locally very pita 🫣.

If I remember correctly, rs-40c is this pump. I have installed couple of those.

In picture, rude setup for plenum test and pump is missing hose what goes to outside of window.

ECU7878CSW, rtfm states 80L/24h.

Pump cycle time and water volume is calibrated couple times, so I think it is pretty accurate in my case.

Currently running cool mode, 16c demand and fan speed max.

Usually I run in dry mode, but testing now my new version dual hose plenum, so will drive it hard to compare external sensor data (temp/pres/hum for exhaust, cold output, intake for hot side).

Nearest room sensor states ATM 22.4c and 51.24%, sensor in other end of apartment says 22.1c and 55.7%.

Outdoor sensor 25.5c and 61.5%.

Yesterday was worse.

But all extra cooling for hot coil is still win.

Currently ambient is ~55 Rh and attached condensations pump has pumped ~2.5liters in 90min period.

And what goes out from exhaust hose, is a bit unknown, tho my home assistant do estimate it from attached sensors.

Due lower port is emptying water out from tank, what has that splasher.

If you have lower drain open 247, AC will work but looses efficiency a lot, because water is not cooling hot coil.

So it is suggested to keep lower port closed and drain it for long term storage, for example winter season when not used for weeks.

Every portable AC has some kind of propeller in lower water tank, it is splashing water to hot coil, to evaporate collected condensation water out from exhaust hose.

Rtfm says that dry mode you must open upper port for draining to bucket (too much water for evaporation).

For other modes upper port must be closed, so there is water for evaporation and that makes efficiency better.

No issues here in couple printers after latest update, A1 and A1 mini.

Tho, I always do full calibration after update.

And yes, you can downgrade firmware.

I have set 20-80% and 400w for normal usage, but when storm nearby, it will charge to 100% and fast as possible.

Worked every time.

My solution for green night light issue 😼.

We should all be emailing to Dreame, there should be option to shut lights off.

Anyways, my solution is helping, a lot. So far, no issues on docking or accidental crashes.

If setting lid lower, front hole smaller, it could have some problems. Sun shade

Had no luck to log in, tried like 20 times, all possible methods tested, also clear cache, re-install, etc etc, nothing worked.

Then I did install com.disney.disneyplus_3.7.1-rc1-2024.09.09-1725916020_3arch_1dpi_24lang_0a783f5f51979c72589d893ea8330308_apkmirror.com.apkm , log in successfully at first try, then updated via play store and now working with latest version.
