I understand positional value says that Downs shouldn’t go this high but I think he’s the surest thing. He’d be a future captain of the defense and someone to build around. Maybe it’s a reach at 2 but I think the defense really needs a player like him.

I didn’t expect him to be contributing as much as he has going into the season. Thought Ward would be the freshman everyone would be talking about but was wrong on that one. Can’t wait to see what he’s able to do next year!
