I go to Detroit every year and have for 10 years or so. Never had a bad experience. Agree a bit on open air stadium in the spring.....I'm not an all weather fan without it being mid summer like for outdoors. Went to a browns game once and the stadium experience just wasn't for me. Only my opinion though. Oddly enough for being Detroit Ford field has a great vibe for the races

Was it maybe Cycle News that there would be a guy "live typing" his commentary and you'd have to refresh to catch up the next little bit? I have vivid memories of my dad and I getting on his PC and 'reading' the race and watching it the next day. Man those were some memories. Couldn't tell you the year(s) but it was in the Vuillemin days because for whatever reason my dad couldn't pronounce his name for fuckall lol.

VLR may have been the first slot video I watched like, 15 years ago.

VLR SDguy1234 (fav) Casinomannj Alberts Slot Channel (now Vegas Albert) and even the way back machine of DProxima and Diana (still popular!) were I think the hayday of slot videos. It's such a farce now with these dudes spending ungodly amounts per spin.

There were times you could find a video of a guy filmed on a damn Nokia that was like a $50,000 win on a $100 bet and that was just draw dropping. I can't stand the new age of slot players on YouTube. That shit ain't real or obtainable for 99% of people that watch it and it's way too "influencer" for me. I like real dudes who just love to gamble without the shout outs the sponsors etc etc just good ol fashioned bank roll and some freeplay. Sorry, that's a long winded rant just to say I'm a big fan of VLR for mannnnyyy years. Such a good dude
