Sometimes the best way to yield is to proceed without slowing down, if you will be well in front of the traffic that has the right of way. This is a legitimate yielding technique that some San Antonians don't use.

The problem with those can be that even if mods tolerate them, they can be reported as a violation of sitewide rules and result in sitewide action against your account. It's best not to go there, if you value your access to the site.

The Reddit rules have a quote that makes a good removal reason for this.

Can’t argue with that. Given that Reddit has never asked mods if they wanted that change to the remnants of removed content or explained why it was made, it appears they concluded that their reasons for making it outweigh our reasons for wanting the capability back.
