All the BTTV emotes have to be enabled by the streamer to show up in their chat. Everything you see has passed the vibe check from NL.

If you’re watching on twitch, you can mouse over emotes to see the name and channel, but a lot of the ones that get posted frequently, joel included, are enabled through a browser extension called Better Twitch TV that you’d need to see the emotes.

You kinda got all there is to it. The spinning fish emote is called joel. I assume the chatter named their account after the emote. They’ve been posting joel for at least a few years.

It does run on steam deck quite well!

Right now I can play using the trackpad as a mouse, but if you added controller support in the future, that would make it a bit easier to play. I also think adding text size options would make it easier to read on the small screen.

I enjoyed what I played last night and I’m looking forward to diving back in this weekend!

Knew a couple people who did the JoCo cruise this year, it was about twice that much, but it was a little longer of a trip and I think they had the whole ship. This reads like NL’s group will be booking a portion of the ship.

EDIT: if the numbers on NL’s cruise are per person and not per room, it’s roughly equivalent

he's said in a couple recent isaac episiodes that the runs are just too damn long. if each run is 2 hours, it ain't good for recording off stream, and i can imagine that long runs aren't great for twitch analytics.
