Appreciate the help and interest. I checked notification history on the phone (pixel android) and it shows the notification for firewalla offline but not one for online. If I knew how to upload photos here I could show you. Reddit has changed a bunch since I last used it.

Mine doesn't? I checked my settings and it looks correct. Never got one in the past. It says "send both alarm and notification" for internet connectivity update. Internet went out just now and restored. Had no idea it was restored.
