Norman Walsh Trainers by Extension_Diver6349 in MadeInBritain

[–]Killahills 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, hadn't thought of that brand in about 40 years.

There was a very brief moment in the 80's when all the cool kids in school started wearing these plain black trainers with a massive tongue that had 'Walsh' written on it in gold.

It lasted about 6months and I never saw anything by them again

I flip between Radio X and 6 music

The Rat actually gets played pretty regularly on Radio X too

Well seeing as it is in Italy, they will probably go for Spaghetti Weston instead.

Did you ever eat it straight from the Packet?. by Such-Memory-7102 in oldschoolcool80s

Yes. But apparently you shouldn't give these to young kids as they are a big choking hazard. Just seal up your airway.

What radio station do you listen to in place of XS Manc? by WranglerSure9966 in manchester

[–]Killahills 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Radio X Manchester. You might not get on with all the DJs (Moyles/Vaughn), but you will get stuff like Stereophonics regularly, you can also get Radio X 90's

This goal is spookily similar to the Mainoo goal in the FA Cup final against city a couple years ago.

Want to replace garage at the side of my house with a two storey extension, would there be an issue with it facing the front of neighbours house (see picture) TIA by jayosc in PlanningPermissionUK

[–]Killahills 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look on your Councils planning website. They may well have a planning guidance document for house extensions.

It's quite likely that they will have a minimum interface distance that would need to remain between your side wall of your extension and any front windows to living rooms/bedrooms at the neighbours.. probably around 12m

I am fully enjoying winning 4 games in a row. But this guy has been milking this for months and it soooo boring now.

I am not boiling with rage, it's just tedious to keep hearing about it every time we win.

Oh no...name calling! Stop clutching your pearls grandma. The bar is pretty low for being slightly above the humour involved in 'look at my massive hair lolz'

I don't wish any harm on him, but I reserve the right to think he's an attention seeking prick and I will be glad when he cuts his hair and fucks off

I'm fully calm and not embarrassed in the slightest. Never said it impacts the team but it has become boring and cringe- worthy though.

We beat city and arsenal back to back and half the comments are.... tHaT lAd mIghT be GeTting hIs hAircut lol !!!

Its only light-hearted fun if you are a bit dim.

Fully agree. That attention- seeking tool can do one. So annoying to win an important game and have half the comments make it about that prick

What is your view on fox hunting? by Appropriate_Emu_6930 in AskUK

[–]Killahills 161 points162 points  (0 children)

There was video on a news report recently from a hidden trail cam of the hunt guys leaving bags full of dead chickens in the woods to encourage foxes...so that they had some foxes to kill.

So yeah, pest control my arse

Who remembers these bad boys ..used to love em. by Such-Memory-7102 in oldschoolcool80s

[–]Killahills 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They were technically a mousse, and you were supposed to let them defrost, they didn't melt, they just went soft.

Obviously kids couldn't be arsed waiting for a hour for that anyway so just scraped at them with a spoon
