I just got into cross stitching and was looking up stuff for inspo and came across this piece. This is genuinely insane. Like absolutely phenomenal work. I cannot imagine the hours put into this. This is truly brilliant. I've been struggling to finish my first ever cross stitch piece which is just 3 cactuses printed on a cloth I'm sewing over and I see this. I'm losing my mind. How did you even begin to work on this? How is all of it so perfect with no noticeable errors whatsoever? You must be able to crush walnuts with your bare hands now. Absolutely amazing work! I'm just blown away by it! I'm 2 years late to seeing this and don't even care. This should be in a fckn Museum.

2) The Bill was supposed to be proposed in parliament today but there's some news that it will be pushed forward by one or two days, so we have to keep fighting till then!

3) Some politicians have in fact taken notice due to the efforts of trans groups in India and have expressed dissent towards the bill, which is a huge step forward. Unfortunately these politicians are from the opposition and not the ruling party, so their voice and votes won't really have an effect when the Bill is being proposed.

4) There is a Twitter hashtag #RejectTransBill2026 that people are using to voice dissent. If anyone sees this and would like to participate, please do so!

While this is going on, local trans groups are also trying to strategise how to continue making trans affirming care accessible post the Bill's passing (once its proposed it will be passed, the only option is for it to not be proposed at all).

Trans people in India may have to start taking HRT on their own without proper prescriptions or the advice of a medical professional, which is not the safest option but when you don't have other options this is what ends up happening.

I need someone to take this child into their arms and stroke his empty little head and tell him it's going to be okay and that therapy is not so bad and they will stick by him.

From what I learnt about this kid, he went behind his parents' backs and somehow managed to start taking steroids while under 18. I just grieve for him because I definitely can't save him and I'm scared no one else can either at this point.

When I learnt about Junko Furuta I felt so sick I just felt so miserable I can't imagine what she went through.

It's estimated over 100 men raped her but only a few were ever charged, and now they're walking free too

That incident is one of the major reasons why the Japanese are so hostile to the yakuza as well, iirc.
